This place was a perfect suggestion. It's so peaceful out here, and Link is fully relaxed during his run. It's good to feel him this way, because normally he is always on high alert, and that creates alot of tension in our muscles.
We found a small creek, and I had to laugh at my ancient creature acting like a child trying to catch the minnows in it. Even in the dark, he could see them plain as day.
We had been at this for hours, and I could tell he was ready to shift back. After lying on the creek bank for an hour, he said he was finished for the night, and thanked me for giving him so much time.
I asked Onyx if he would like to run for a bit, maybe shift and run back to the pack house, but he refused. He said that Link had used up enough energy for all three of us. Howe
