Here we go again. I can't f*****g believe it. I thought we had banished that demon forever all those years ago. I don't know how deeply seeded he is in my granddaughter's mind, so that means we have to figure out a different way to defeat him again.
"Mel? Earth to Mel," Loki called out to me. I was deep in thought, and hadn't heard a word of what the others were saying.
"Sorry, what were you saying? I was just thinking," I replied. He placed his hand on my knee, and gave me a knowing smile. He knew all too well what was running through my mind.
"I was asking if you thought a 24 watch on her cell was even necessary since it's been sealed with magic," Olive asked.
I quickly nodded. It was absolutely necessary. Magic was good and all, but we were dealing with a demon.
