children of the flames

I woke up to another dream of a guy's voice and beautiful flame in a dark space torched in the middle of nowhere. I opened my eyes... I slowly looked at the right side table and my alarm clock. it was seven in the morning. I sighed as i got out of my wolf blankets and rushed to the bathroom. as I looked into the mirror and I saw my eyes glow blue. well bluer anyways. i shook it off. i put my blond hair back in a ponytail then put on some scrubs. then I left my bedroom and down the stairs. the house I live in was a two stories. I only had my father and brother. my mother passed away when I was young. I miss her terribly. as I walked down the stairs I herd the coffee machine and movement in the kitchen. I walked into the kitchen and there sat my dad and he was up drinking his coffee. "hi dad good morning" I said as I kissed him on the cheek. "good morning Mandy your cutting it close to being late" he told me. I smiled as i grabbed my purse and put on my shoes. "yeah I know...see you tonight at dinner." I told him as I left. as I got to work in thirty minutes. the hospital was filled with people. my day was going to be rough. I filed papers and helped people taking there blood and walking them around. just a simple job I did every day. as it hit nine thirty I walked out and drove home. on the way I stop and got gas. then I got home my brothers car was in the drive way. I parked beside it and got out. I walked to the door and went in. the TV was blaring. both brother and father where watching a game. "hey I'm home" i yelled. "dinner is in fridge!" my dad yelled back. "ok" I told him as I took my shoes off. I went to the fridge and opened it. inside was lasagna. I smiled. I took the food and put it in microwave to heat it up. as soon as it was warm I took it out sat down and eat it. after that I cleaned the dishes. and then went up stairs to my bedroom put on my pjs. then went to sleep. the next day I woke up. I got a nock on my door then a happy birthday from my father. I'm now 27 years old. I went to my door and opened it. my father was there with breakfast tray. it had eggs and bacon and juice. I took it and kissed his cheek "thanks dad".I told him. he nodded and smiled. then walked away. I sat on my bed and ate it. then I got dressed in leggings and a tee shirt. then I walked down stairs. my dad was sitting at the table drinking coffee as well as my brother. "hi I'm going for a run" I told them. they nodded as I put my running shoes on. then I walked outside then went on the path in the woods. I was running on the trail when I got tired and walked back. when I got back it was around noon. the rest of my birthday I spent with my brother watching starwar movies. then I went to sleep. when it hit midnight I woke up to my house in flames. I was shocked as I ran down stairs. I felt the flames and smoke. but as I was about to yell for my brother and father. I saw both in the living room dead. I was shocked as I screamed. then I herd voices. I turned as I seen two men in dark clothes. I ran as I seen them. I ran into the woods and didn't stop till I seen a gate. I went to it. as soon as I touched it. it glowed. I step back for a second then I herd voices. I got scared so I opened the gate. then went threw it. I started to run again. I felt sticks under my feet and I got scratches on my body. I kept going till I herd a waterfall. as soon as I herd it I ran towards it. but as I did I fell down a steep hill then fell into cold water. as I did I swam out. I felt tired and hurt as I crawled to a big tree and leaned against it. as I did I shut my eyes. I cried. as I did I herd horses and wagons. I got real quite. I seen them come on a path. they where dressed in green armer and held green flame torches. I guess one person saw me. as I herd some one yell stop. they all did then one person with a green flame came to me. "hey sweat heart are yours ok?" he asked me. I shook my head no. he put down the flame torch and helped me up. then he puts me in the wagon. "we got a hurt girl over here!" he yelled as he came over. his torch showing me in the moon light. three other men came over. they looked at me. I was scared. "pick her up and put her in the wagon.l!" one said as he reached down to me. I gulped as I felt arms around me. then picked me up. then gently put me in a wagon. I felt scared.i didn't know where I was.but about a few minutes in the wagon. I drifted off to sleep thinking where the heck am I.
