John drove me to school on my first day we were at the principal office signing the papers from my transfer when a girl entered.
“ yes, principal you called for me?”
“Yes morning Sarah, can I introduce you Maddison our new transfer student”
“Hi John that’s your daughter I already heard about my dad talked to me yesterday, be at east I will show her everything”
“Thank you Sarah Maddison isn’t quite familiar here but when you help her I am relieved”
I look at this beautiful girl she almost had the same height as me her eyes had a grey color and her long black wavy hair was shining. I was a little taken aback all of the students here looked great. Most of them tall and build huge packed with muscles. I felt like I was in the wrong place wearing my sweater and my ponytail. My glasses broke in the incident in Seattle and I didn’t replace them. The principal handed me my timetable and excused himself from some meetings.
“Maddy I will leave you from here later I can come to pick you up after school”
“That’s not necessary I can go home by myself “yes that's not necessary John I will take her with me we are from the same pack”
“Okey then I will leave first”
John bit his farewell and left for his training with the warriors.
“So Maddy can I call you Maddy? I am Sarah the alpha's daughter, I see we have the first class together we can go together”
“Ehm so you are also a werewolf?”
“Hahaha yes everyone here are werewolves “
I was so starlet, I wasn’t expecting that.
“ union high is a school founded by our elders they wanted to create a place where each pack can attend school without rivalry. Some of the smaller packs didn’t have schools on their pack ground so they attend here. “
“How many packs are attending this school ?”
“Approximately 20, some packs are too far away and some have their schools”
“ uff what should I do to survive this school year?”
“ don’t be silly we are not different from the humans we also graduate and work like them some of us also work in the cities we just keep a low profile “
“ is there also a hierarchy like the human high schools”
“ oh do you mean like the more popular ones and less popular ones, here there are more like the stronger ones and weaker ones for example the kids from alphas are in a higher rank than the others at the bottom there are Omegas not many omegas attend school but there are still some”
We were passing a poster where the sports club makes some announcements.
“You guys have an MMA club at school?”
“Yes, you are interested in something like that?”
“I was in the wrestling club in my old school and I have done some taekwondo in the past”
“ There are very few females in these clubs”
“ okay maybe I should keep a low profile”
But I note the date and the time for the audition.
“ do you always wear these things”
“ what’s wrong? Is there a specific dress code?”
“ no, but I can see that you are quite pretty and I think under these layers is a great body why do you cover everything?”
“ Sarah I want to pass this year without any troubles and showing off my body is at the bottom of my list.”
“ okay as you wish but I think it is a pity” we entered the first class and some guys were looking in their direction. I keep my head low and search for a seat. Then 3 guys at the back caught her attention. Two of them she knew Ty was the one to which she gave a punch and Cole was the one with the great smile. But the middle one she didn’t recognize. He was staring at her his eyes in a grey almost silver color. His face shows no emotion but his eyes were piercing through her. He radiates some negative emotions toward her. She was going to avoid this group but no Sarah had to grab her to them.
“ move Ty, we need 2 seats!”
“Ohhh what we have here princess and iron fist” Ty switches his seat to Cole. Now Mason was sitting beside her. He didn’t say a word. During the whole lesson, I had the feeling some silver eyes pierced some holes into my head. I was so relieved when the lesson ended. I bid my farewell to Sarah and sprinted out of class.
“Mason, can’t you drop this fierce look? Dad told us to treat her well and I like her “
“ why are you with her ?”
“ the principal and John told me to show her around”
“ keep a distance from her”
Sarah rolled her eyes at him and also exit the class. During this hour Mason had a shocking realization. This half-human was his mate.
He smelt her right after she entered the room the vanilla rain scent. Max was going crazy in his head. He bit his teeth together and pushed back Max in his head cutting the link to him. The moon goddess was playing a prank on him.
Maddison was rushing to the next class. She was flustered by the guy with silver eyes. She didn’t pay attention when she run against a brick wall. She dropped all her books while picking them up she apologized zig times. Then she saw two big hands handing her two books. She lifts her view to a boy's face. He had ash blond hair and mesmerizing blue eyes. He smiled at her and handed her another pen which she dropped.
“ I am so sorry”
“ it’s okay I hope I didn’t hurt you”
“ I was the one who run into you did I hurt you somewhere?”
The guy lift his head and started to laugh loudly.
“ I am sorry but you are the first female asking if I was hurt I am Alexander by the way”
“ hi I am Maddison”
“ you are new right ?”
“Ehm yes I just got transferred here”
“ yes I would remember these blues eyes”
Maddison's cheeks got red.
What she didn’t know was that some silver eyes were watching the scene. Mason's hands were in fists. He tried hard to control himself.
Maddison stood up and thanked Alexander again and left for her lesson. Alexander was still looking in the direction of Maddison when Mason bumped into him.
“ oh my fault sorry Alex “
Alex bowed his head slightly to Mason. Alex was the Beta from Richmond Pack so he had to pay respect to alphas. Mason got close to Alex and warned him.
“ Keep your distance from her or you will regret it”
Mason past him. Ty and Cole follow behind.
Alex looked after Mason.
“That’s interesting” he smirked and went on.
