CHAPTER SIX
Dana entered the rehearsal hall and stood over to one side, watching the activity. The dancers were flying around the room in the midst of a production number. He spotted d**k Kenny and went over to talk with him. d**k was leaning on the piano watching the dance number. The singers were behind the piano, singing d**k's lyrics to the special material he had written for the Don Melton Show.
Dana walked up to d**k and stood next to the huge man.
"d**k, David said it would be alright if I used your office this afternoon. I have this chick and we wanted a place in the building to make it. David gave me the key, and I wanted to know if it was alright with you."
Dick looked at Dana contemptuously. "Why don't you get a dressing room. I need our office to work in."
