WORKPLACE VISIT
Gabriella walked up the steps, facing the huge rectangular glass building of the newspaper where Erica had worked. She held on to the steel rails and pushed herself through the revolving doors. Surrounding her inside were women wearing corporate dress suits and men sporting collared-up shirts or suits with matching smart, casual pants. In the foyer, a middle-aged woman with vibrant red hair and a slim physique sipped a hot drink from a disposable cup as she sat on a yellow swivel chair at a white round table. It was that female reporter, Janey, who had shown up when Gabriella’s house was broken in to. Looking up, the woman nodded in her direction, and Gabriella smiled back. She walked along glossy grey floor tiles and spotted a range of pastel-coloured couch
