Chapter thirty-two POLICE ARRIVAL The next evening, Jesse drove to Derek’s house. He had driven from Gabriella’s house with the intention of going home, but then his concern for her overrode his need to be home alone. He ended up driving back and monitoring her house all night, so he’d got little sleep. He was now tired from sleeping in his car.
