BONDING
Jesse rubbed his eyes as he entered the kitchen, listening to Gabriella on the phone. “No, I am fine, Bella. Let Jamie and Liz know I am not in the mood to go out. I just saw you guys at the cafe for dinner last night. You do not need to keep checking up on me. I am not alone here.” She blushed, and he wondered what Bella had said to cause it. Once she ended the call, she turned to him with a warm smile. He couldn’t help but get lost in her striking dark eyes.
“Good morning, Jesse.” She sighed. “I have to put up with clingy friends. They wanted to go out tonight, but I told them I just wanted a quiet weekend.
