“Gourmans,” Caulette muttered. “I knew something was wrong.” “Why are they here?” Frank asked. “The enemy lines aren't for a couple more miles.” They followed the footpath, staying close to the rock until they came to the top of it. Ahead, they spied a giant cave with lights inside. The cave’s jagged mouth was tall and wide, with stalactites hanging just inside the entrance. Several Fry Guards stood watch. “A secret base,” Brocc said. “Those Gourmans were on patrol,” Frank said, his face hardening. “We’ve got to turn back and tell Leon.” Caulette shook her head. “Don’t forget our mission.
