Janice Dinner was not very fun for me, as Tiffany and Francesca knew about my fallout with Steve. But Andrew was right, they supported me either way. Maybe because they also knew that I would be divorcing Steve, and would be meeting my lawyer, tomorrow morning. So when Tiff's boyfriend Paul called from next door, we decided to move. Tiffany said this was a cause for celebration. She said I should celebrate, being a soon-to-be ex-wife, and start looking for a new man. She knew that I was a virgin when I married Steve, so she was very excited about finding me, my seconds. I just laughed at her. We moved from the bistro to the club next door. Tiff's boyfriend was meeting her there, with a couple of guys, and told her to bring us with her. I was wearing my little black dress anyway, so I said to her bring it on! We laughed at my soon-to-be ex-wife's attitude. We had some drinks and chatted with some of Paul's friends. Francesca was already hooking up, kissing this one guy. Tiff was talking and laughing with Paul. So I had another drink, with one of Paul's friends, I couldn't even remember his name already. Shit, I'm getting drunk. Then I heard a ping on my phone. It was Andrew, and I smiled so brightly right away. Making the girls giving me, a surprised look. Hey...I'm done at my brother's, where are you? Thought I could pick you up, on the way home. - Andrew I replied moments later We movd to a club nxt dor to the bistro, Tiff is meetng her byfrind there. Just sextd me whn you arrivd and I wil be out frnt. Thnks agin Andrew - Jan He answered seconds later Jan...Are you drunk? Ok I'm picking you up right now. Just stop drinking okay - Andrew Then I texted him back Yep! I'm think I'm drunk! It feels good tho u shud join us. We're by the sfa by the bayr. Tiff said I shud celebrate my Steve me not maried again. Just hurry okay I'm goigng dancing now with jeff or jave or Jim I give up. Just find me Kay. C u - Jan I was dancing on the dance floor, I could feel that the guy was grinding me. Feeling like I was going for it letting it all go, it was like I wanted to get back at Steve. For f*****g that w***e, in our marital bed. I could feel his hands on my hips tracing to my ass. It felt good to be wanted again. But I wanted Andrew, and he was not here. Then I felt like I was done with the dancing, I didn't want to dance anymore. I put my hands in his chest saying that I was done, but he was drunk and would not let me go. I could see Andrew looking mad as hell, going through the crowd walking straight at me. Then he reached me and took my waist. "You're done here, Janice. We're going home." His words sounded angry in my ear. "Hey, dude! Do you mind? Were dancing here. I'm with her first." The guy in front of me was talking to Andrew now. But Andrew just gave him a deadly glare, and he just backed away. Wow, he has some eye powers. I just giggled at his face, then I snaked my hands in his neck. "Mmm...you're here, dance with me." I slurred my words at him. "No! You're done we're coming home. Where's your purse? Let's get it, then we go. Now Janice!" He said sounding angry with me. But I went to Tiff and Fran anyway, to get my purse. They were surprised, that I had Andrew with me. So I introduced him to them. Now they could put a face, to the man that I told them about earlier in the bistro. We went home, right after saying goodbye and promised to text them tomorrow. On our way back Andrew was quiet, while I was still feeling the alcohol in me, and giggled at him. "You are very mad just now? Why?" I asked him now, looking like I had done something wrong. Andrew just stroked my cheek for a while and stayed silent again. So I didn't ask him again. Not until we were alone at his place. "I told you, not to drink again Janice." He sounded a bit angry. I noticed that he called me Janice now. Which didn't sit well with me. "Sorry, I was just having fun. Since Steve..." I stopped and suddenly I felt the tears, and I was upset at myself, for still thinking about Steve. Andrew pulled me in and hold me, I felt safe instantly. I hugged him tightly my hands holding his back, inhaling his scent. "Mmm...I can stay like this forever." I blurted out and blushed knowing I just said that out loud. Andrew chuckled and kissed my temple. He wiped my tears away. And pulled me back. "I'm going to make some coffee for you, then you're going to sleep it off okay. What time is your appointment tomorrow with your lawyer?" He asked as he walked to the kitchen. I took off my heels and my jacket and followed him to the kitchen. "At two in the afternoon. Look Andrew I'm sorry for earlier okay. I know you mean well." Andrew's disappointment seemed to sober me up a little. He gave me a cup of coffee, it looked black and bitter. But he looked at me and raised an eyebrow challenging me. "If an eyebrow could kill. Yours would do it... s**t! Did I just say that out loud?" He laughed at me, and nudged the cup to my lips, I opened my mouth and slowly drink the coffee, and winced at the bitter taste. "Janice come on, drink some more you need to sober up a little. If not you'll have a hangover, at your lawyer's office tomorrow." He grabbed himself another cup. "Come I'll join you on the couch, and why don't you tell me about your evening." He said as I followed him. We talked about our evening for a while, and he finally smiles looking at my empty cup. "See, that wasn't so hard was it?" He smiled at me, and I pouted. He gently touched my face, to remove my pout. "Jan, you know you are even more beautiful, without the pout." His hands were still stroking my face, then fixing my strands back behind my ear. Feeling the urge to kiss him, I moved myself towards him and close the gap, as I gently put my lips on his. "Jan, are you sober enough to do this? I don't want to kiss you and you forget about it in the morning." I nodded my head, to reply to his question.
