The Mafia Queen

In a small orphanage located somewhere in Italy, There lived a girl named Natasha. One day as she was dooing her daily chores, three S.U.Vs rolled into the courtyard. Two men wearing black suits came out of the second car and held the doors open, letting a man and woman dressed in fancy clothes out of the car and escorted them into the orphanage. Natasha's P.O.V "Mr Zolansky is the biggest business man in our country," The headmistress spoke," he doesn't have any children of his own so he and his wife are here to adopt one of you, so you should all be on your best behavior!" "Do they only want one child, headmistress?" I asked. "unfortunately, yes." She sighed. The couple soon came in and we greeted them with smiles on our faces. They interacted with us one by one and pretty soon it became my turn. " Hello, what's your name?" Mrs Zolansky asked me with a smile. " Natasha, my name is Natasha" i said politely. " well, I'm Skylar and my husband's name is Roman. How old are you?" she asked with a calm and patient voice. "I'll be turning 17 in a few months." Mr and Mrs Zolansky asked me a few more questions like what did I like to do for fun, what my hobbies were, likes and dislikes and to all those questions I answered truthfully and straight to the point,there was no reason to beat around the bush. soon they left to go and talk to the next person in line "I wonder who will be going home with them" I sighed My friends Julia and Carmen came to my side with crazy smiles plastered on their faces, "what's up with the creepy smiles?" "The Zolanskys really seem to like you."Carmen's smile became wider as the words left her mouth. "Yeah! they haven't stopped looking at you even though they are talking to the other guys!" True to Julia's words, I looked at the couple and they smiled widely when our eyes met. " They are probably just excited" I rolled my eyes at my two best friends silliness. "Excited about taking you home! Try to be a bit optimistic some times" Carmen urged. I looked at the couple once again, Mrs was a very beautiful woman with long black hair, light brown skin and chocolate brown eyes. She also has a perfect hourglass figure that I know definitely turns heads. I could estimate her height was probably 5,6 and I'm pretty sure she was in her late 30s. Mr Zolansky on the other hand was a bit darker, even through the Armani suit he was wearing, his muscles were bulging! Short styled black hair framed his face perfectly, height was probably 6,2 and his eyes were a stunning shade of hazel green. "How old is Mr Zolansky?"I asked. Carmen paused for a bit, "46 or so I've heard." she shrugged " well I heard that he owns 5 big hotels, 3 large companies, 6 restaurants and" Julia looked around to make sure no one was listening," he is the ruthless Mafia King" she whispered. "That's ridiculous! at least the last part is, I mean look at him! he is literally playing with Jojo and the other toddlers and he looks like he is genuinely happy about it. I'm having a hard time believing that he kills people for a living." I just couldn't believe it "I can't believe it either," Carmen said "I'm sure it's just people trying to give him a bad name" we all fell silent when the headmistress came in and took the Zolanskys into her office. As we waited, the orphanage mean girl named Anita started to rant " well, well, well! I guess we all know they are obviously going to pick me. I hope none of you got your hopes too high" she smiled devilishly. She has always been the bully in this orphanage thinking she can get what ever she wants when ever she wants Just because she's the oldest. Two weeks ago, she wanted Meghan's new leather jacket so she decided to snatch it. when I tried to talk her into giving back the jacket, she tried to hit me. Big mistake.... We ended up in a fight which I won since she isn't really that good at throwing a punch, we both got punished in the end it was worth it. "Anita, they hardly talked to you. I'm pretty sure the conversation they had with Jojo who is just three years old was much more Interesting!" I said lazily. " what did you just say to me?" she tried to slap me but I cought her hand in time "Try to raise your hand on me one more time and I will remind you about the last time you tried to hit, I promise I won't leave out any details. I'm pretty sure there are still a few bruises under all that makeup you've put on." I glared at her with a wicked smile. her eyes grew wide with horror "I- i- am not afr-, you can't do anything t- to me!" she mumbled "You wanna bet? coz I can do much worse" I challenged She instantly kept quiet. Great that will keep her shut for a while. "Nice one" Julia said im a low tone. About 10 minutes later, the headmistress and Mr and Mrs Zolansky came out of the office with smiles on their faces. "Sorry we took so long, children. Mr and Mrs Zolansky have come to a decision." The headmistress smiled from ear to ear "it was a tough choice because you all are so amazing but we can only adopt one at the moment." Mrs Zolansky smiled sadly. Mr Zolansky took his wife's hand and said, "We have decided to adop-" Anita cut him off before he could finish "I'm so happy you chose me! I just new you would choose me! so... when do I move in with you guys?" I rolled my eyes at her petty behavior The Zolanskys looked at each other, " uhm, I'm sorry Anita, you're a lovely girl but you're sadly not meant for us," Mr Zolansky turned to me and continued with a warm smile," we are going to adopt Natasha" Everyone cheered... well, all except Anita. She was in shock. "what??? No,no you must be mistaken. I clearly deserve to be your daughter way more than that loser Natasha! This is not fair!" Anita screamed. "Life is often unfair but it always remembers to reward the good ones" I smirked Mrs Zolansky came to my side " what do you say, Natasha.... will you complete our family? will you make us the happiest couple in the world by becoming our daughter?" she said with an awkward smile I looked at my friends "say yes! say yes! say yes!" They all chanted I smiled, " Yes, I will be your daughter" Mrs Zolansky suddenly hugged me and sobbed " Are you okay?" I asked, confused she laughed softly "I'm absolutely fine, these are tears of Joy" she let me go and smiled brightly. " please fill in this form, Mr Zolansky." The Headmistress spoke, " congratulations Mr and Mrs Zolansky and a special congratulations to you, Natasha Zolansky!" "Thank you, ma'am" I said I can't believe it, I'm adopted. I am now officially Natasha Zolansky. I thought to myself " it's time to pack up your things and say goodbye to your friends" The headmistress explained My best friends followed me to the room " I can't believe you're actually leaving, I'm gonna miss you girl!" Julia said "it just won't be the same here without you" Carmen hugged me tightly we hugged each other goodbye and I walked to the car where my new parents were standing and I waved goodbye to everyone "Are you ready to go home?" Mr Zolansky asked I took a deep breath and said, "I'm ready."
