Chapter 24
I woke up in a hospital bed and IV fluid running through my veins. My mouth was very dry and my vision was blurry. A nurse who was passing by saw me awake and ran into the room, "Good, you're awake." She takes my temperature, "Do you remember what happened?" "Um... All I remember was my whole body in pain. It felt like I broke every bone in my body." The nurse then takes my blood pressure. "Are you still in pain?" "Not really, mostly in my head." "Okay, everything looks good. The doctor will be in here shortly and I'll get you more pain medicine." The nurse smiled and then walked away.
