Steven's view:
"Hmm... Why are you still here, Steven?" Father asked me, finally looking back at my face.
I replied, "Dad, we haven't finished talking about Thelma starting her internship at MW Group tomorrow. Please, Dad, let's give her a chance and support her for once."
"Support Thelma, you say, Steven? Didn't you see the kissing marks all over your sister's neck and face? Did you even bother to ask her who she went out with?"
I sighed and replied, "No, Dad."
"Didn't we support Thelma? We supported her going out to celebrate her birthday for the first time in a hotel. Even when she refused to tell us the name of the hotel, she only told your mother that her friends had made the arrangements and she couldn't say no to them. They were the ones who paid for the birthday celebration and organized everything. We thought it wasn't a bad idea and allowed your sister to go. And now look at the mess she came back home looking like. And worst, she went to LX Hotel to celebrate her birthday too." Father shook his head in disappointment and stared away from me.
"Dad, from my findings and research from the hotel CCTV footage, Mavin White wasn't there at the hotel, neither was any of the senior bosses. We just need to give Thelma some time, as her friends truly organized her birthday celebration. But they laughed at her, and that made her hurt and leave the event venue because she was heartbroken."
"Please, Dad, just this time. I promise to speak to Thelma and try to find out if she can remember the name of the man she met. Thelma doesn't look like she was forced to sleep with the man, so I believe she will speak to me about him and disclose some vital information that will enable us to catch the man she spent the night with. But not when she's sad, Dad, please." I begged, hoping that would confuse Dad enough to make him change his mind. He hated LX Group, and because of his hatred for them, I had never congratulated Mavin or spoken to him. It was only our fans who were dragging us online and comparing us, as we mostly competed for awards.
"Hmm, I don't care to know about the man your sister slept with. That's all past tense now. You should speak to Thelma about meeting with Felix Ruben by next weekend, as he will be here to visit us." Father said as a reminder and turned to walk away. But I asked him, "Dad, how about Thelma resuming with MW Groups tomorrow?"
"Hmm," Dad paused at the living room stairs he was about to climb and sighed before replying, "Fine, Steven. You speak to Thelma and make sure she keeps her distance from Mavin White. I don't want to hear a*********s about them having anything to do with each other."
"Okay, Dad." I smiled as I watched Father finally climb upstairs and went back to his room to probably speak with Mother. They share a luxurious bedroom together.
I made my way towards the kitchen to have something to eat. It was already noon, and I hadn't eaten breakfast.
I saw Elsa and some maids in the kitchen discussing. Elsa was standing in front of the four maids, speaking to them in a hushed tone. I couldn't hear their conversation, but they were all laughing and blushing, their complexions, fair-skinned.
I walked into the kitchen and huffed. They quickly dispersed and stopped their gossiping, the kitchen becoming silent. They hadn't expected me to walk in.
I looked at Elsa's face. She's very beautiful, like my sister, and my sister's favorite maid too. She somehow resembles Thelma, and I assume maybe it's because they spend more time together.
I walked up to meet Elsa. She stared downward, avoiding my gaze, while the other maids all bowed their heads lower. Lady Bonnie greeted me first, "Good morning, Master Steven. What do you want us to do for you today?"
I ignored responding to Lady Bonnie's question at first. I caught Elsa by her left ear and gently dragged it upward, asking her, "What nonsense are you discussing on duty?"
I could see her face flush red in embarrassment, as the rest of the young ladies, her size, all stared downward in their blue maid uniforms.
Elsa winced in pain and replied, "Nothing, sir."
"Hmm, prepare my breakfast and take it up to my bedroom before I return. Let my breakfast be ready." I said, releasing Elsa's ear. I stepped away from her and could see the spot on her ear redden. I left the kitchen for Elsa to carry out my order.
I like Elsa and prefer her attending to me by preparing my tea and serving me meals too. She's very beautiful.
I went back upstairs to my room, but I stopped at the second floor and approached Thelma's room door.
Her door was silent, and I wondered what she could be doing inside her bedroom. I knocked on her door, standing waiting for her to come out and open it.
Knock knock - I knocked again, and yet, Thelma didn't respond.
I pressed her doorbell beisde her door and was about to walk away when she finally pulled the door open and stared at me.
"Can we discuss?" I asked Thelma straightforwardly.
I'm a 30-year-old guy, very friendly and playful at times, that it seemed to Thelma I'm below her age. As she didn't really know my age, I guess.
She asked me, "What do you want us to discuss?"
Thelma folded her arms around her chest as she leaned beside her door entrance to show me that I wasn't welcomed into her bedroom.
"I have already spoken to Dad on your behalf about resuming with MW Group tomorrow, and he has finally agreed for you to resume with them and to start your internship training tomorrow at MW Group." I said.
"Really?" Thelma jumped up in joy, hugging me quickly and asking, "Are you sure, big bro?"
I could see Thelma's face light up in happiness, and that was all I wanted to see. To see her happy. I replied, "Well, yes, but with conditions. You must keep your distance from the CEO of that company and not get into any relationship with any of the men there. And also, you should be preparing to meet with Felix Ruben this weekend."
"Hmm," I saw Thelma's smile disappear from her face, as her cute yellow face wrinkled into a frown, and her sharp blue eyes looked at me angrily. She said, "I don't want Felix."
I raised an eyebrow and asked her, "Do you know Felix before rejecting him? Was he the man you hung out with the previous night? As I have checked from the hotel footage, I saw a man in a suit approach you. Tell me, who was the man you went out with?"
Thelma's face blushed red at my question. Instead of responding, she stared away, not wanting to speak. I said to her, "Are you going to tell me about him, or do you want to marry Felix? You know that Dad won't cancel the wedding arrangements, except I interfere, and that's if you tell me about your new crush?"
Thelma looked at me again, as if she could trust me or not. She said, "I don't know his name, Steven, and I went to his house with his Butler who took me there."
"His Butler, but how? How did you know he's the real owner of the house and not a worker there too?" I asked Thelma, still holding the transparent bottle of water in my hand. I opened it and took some gulps while Thelma replied, "He's the owner of the house, but his Butler said that he..."
"Said what?" I looked at my sister's face with a serious look, anticipating her response.
