“Get off of me!” she muttered as he grasped his hands around her mouth and throat. “This is EVIL!” The man in the black suit laughed before sticking his sharp fangs in her neck. He lustfully rolls his eyes to the back of his head. He breaths heavily as she feels her smooth blood trickling through her veins. She could feel every drop of blood he drew between his lips trailing through her body, as if she were the river and the blood was the water that flows through her. “Ahhh!” the girl panicked. Although, it didn’t hurt, the thought of his tongue absorbing her blood made her body grow weak. It felt almost like she was falling into a black hole that was never ending. Suddenly, a pool of water leaked from between the girl’s legs and poured down into the grass. Turning her head to look, her neck tore from the man’s teeth. “Oh no…” she muttered, as she watched the clear liquid flow down her ankle onto the wet mud. “It’s happening.” The man turned his face to hers. She could just make out his vibrant, yellow eyes and pale, dry cheeks. There was a strong scent of blood on his breath as a red drop dribbled down his lip towards his chin. She watched the drop of her blood fall softly onto his white collared dress shirt. He moved fast as if his body were made of air, as he gracefully snatched her by the arm. She could hardly breathe. “What’s happening!?!” He demanded, as he glared into her dark brown eyes. She could feel a sharp chill down her back as his eyes stared menacingly into hers. It was as if he could read her soul. She tried to look away. “Iridescence!” The man shouted. “WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?!!” He repeated. His voice was an ugly, low growl. It sounded devilish and dark. His skin was hard and rough, and it almost looked navy blue. He reminded her of something from a horror movie. She had never seen this part of him before. Iridescence yanked her arm from his fat, bloody fingers. “WHAT ARE YOU, VENUS?!” She screamed, horrified. “I told you to stop stalking me! Leave me alone!” She yelled. Iridescence crouched down on her knees. The pain was excruciating. She knew what was coming next, but she couldn’t let Venus get to her. She had no idea what he would do if he knew. She leaned onto her hands and begin to crawl away. Her red skirt was lifting as the wind blew up her legs. She could feel the water still seeping between them. “Iridescence!!” Venus called, as he stomped behind her. “You can’t run from me ! You never could!” He laughed demonically. He grasped her leg as she tried to crawl away. She knew there was no hope in trying to yank her foot away. His grip was surprisingly stronger than she had ever remembered. “No, Venus.” Iridescence uttered, trying her best to catch her breath. She gently tugged at her foot as she flipped onto her back. “You’re so blind.” She stated, wiping a tear from her eye. “You never noticed-.” Venus released her ankle as his eyes grew tremendously wide. He stared hard at her bulging stomach. “You-“ “Arghhhh!” A sharp shriek echoed through the forest realms as Iridescence began to realize she was in labor. Her forehead started to bead with sweat as she gripped the tree she noticed was behind her. Gently, she pulled herself up into a crouching position and began to push harder. “Ahhhhhhhh!” Her piercing screams rattled through the trees. She could hear a crow cackle miles away up high as the wind whistled through her long, curly, brown hair. The distant wails of sirens blared somewhere within the far hills and she noticed Venus had disappeared. She wiped her sweaty face, as salty drops trickled into her eyeballs. She could hardly see. “Venus?” She called, still trying to catch her breath from the painful contractions erupting through her stomach. A sharp pain rang in her neck as she remembered the wound from his bite. She slowly raised her two fingers to touch the spot. “Ow.” She winced at the stinging the wound released upon touch. Lowering her fingers, she noticed her blood was a dark purple. “What the f**k?” She muttered. “Aaaaaahhhh!!” Iridescence shrieked as she began to push with all her might. She heard a huge ‘pop’ and a sudden release of pressure in her abdomen. She quickly glanced down and saw a huge ball of fuzz at her feet. Her first instinct was to pick the baby up, but a sudden urge called for her to eat. The urge was so strong, it controlled her. It called her, vulnerably. Slowly, Iridescence stood up. She wobbled just a little as she stepped around the infant and disappeared into the forest, hunting for her first meal.
