Veronica's POV
When I heard Sebastián's conversation with her mistress I created a plan inside my mind.
I have to know the details of the auction his attending because that will be my way to meet his mistress.
"You're awake," my eyes diverted to the door when Sebastián came back holding a paper bag with the logo of a well-known restaurant.
"Y-Yeah," I replied in my weak voice and slowly leaned my back on the headboard of the bed.
"I bought you food," he raised the paper bag and sat on the chair beside me. I smiled at him and acted like I appreciated his effort.
"Thank you," I uttered sincerely and smiled at him.
