I parked my car on the underground parking space and I rode the elevator and pressed the 50th floor. While I was moving upwards, I felt worried for some unknown reason. Why is that? The elevator dinged and I went out of it. I passed by the secretary’s table but he was not there. He might be busy since my husband considered this day a cheat day from work. My palms was so sweaty when I was near the office. I rubbed it against the fabric of my dress to remove it’s moisture and then I held the cold knob and slowly twisted it.
