POV. jasmines

Knowing the teachers wouldn’t care because we always did the work and even if we didn’t know what it meant we would still pass every class with an A+ we never failed even with skipping classes and never being there for the classes and never even showing up we had to deal with school, our grades, keeping our secret of being the leaders of the Fire Phoenix a secret and keeping our parents and my grandma from hearing that we risk our lives every day due to that.

“ Hey guys do you wanna go get food from somewhere else and jackie my grandma said you could come over so that way you wouldn’t have to stay home alone we both know that you don’t like staying alone for the night.” i told em jackie did a backflip when she heard the news. We all decided to go to jackie's place to grab her stuff then go to the forest behind my house to hid the bag. We left it at the redwood tree not far from my house and then went to go take care of some business. We had business to attend to for one of the girls we had invited to be a leader had tried to put our own people against. Us we do not accept betrayal against our way of leading girls to help them stay happy free and non-abused.

“ JASMINE!” jackie said and whacked my head.

“OW Jackie what the heck what is wrong with you I’m injured remember” i screamed.

“Girl we’ve been calling you for the past 5 minutes. We’re here.” rolling her eyes at me. We saw the tree where we start climbing. We looked up. They all turned around to keep a watch i grabbed all of our bags walked to the other side of the tree opened the door we had there i put all of our bags in there shut the door locked it put the key back inside the secret compartment. I opened the second door in the tree with my fingerprint took out 4 of the 9 millimeter handguns shut the door then walked out from behind the tree. I passed out the guns Tiffany, Jackie, and Jessica put them in their waistbands. I held mine and nodded to the tree they knew that meant go they climbed up i opened my ears to focus on my surrounding the girls were so quiet when they reached the 5th branch were tiffany stopped sat down and took out her gun in order for me to climb up. She took her position and pointed her run to the floor of the forest. I took that as a cue to start climbing soon. I took one last look around and listened really hard. I heard a twig snap and the bush to my far left i bent down really fast looked up to tiff and pointed towards the bush. She saw and pointed her gun towards the bush by this time Jessica and Jackie had both finished climbing the tree they got on the last branch where they could hide perfectly from view took out their guns and were aiming closer to me. I got up and walked towards the bush it moved i aimed my gun to it knowing i wouldn’t miss this shot no matter what. The bush shook again and out jumped a bunny. I looked to it and knew it was a diversion. I turned on my heel quickly and shot the tree that was behind i heard a scream come from it and something land on the floor. I covered my nose with the signature blood red colored mask only the leaders wore while tiffany jumped down from the tree she aims her gun towards the tree and nodded.

‘ I’ll go check to see who it i aimed down towards the feet to make sure we could take whoever it was for questioning lucky i had used the metallic simulation bullets we created a while back to train the newbies. Make sure to keep you gun aimed at the tree no matter what okay. ‘ i signed to tiffany.

‘K girl’ she singed back.i slowly walked towards the tree there was a ….. Wolf? That doesn’t make anysense. I lowered my gun and walked closer to it i saw that my bullet had hit its shoulder. I didn’t realize i had collapsed onto my knees staring at it till i felt tiffany holding my trying to get me to speak. I got up and went slowly towards the tree the wolf cub was at i bent down and put my had towards it.

“ i’m so sorry pup i thought you were a human who followed us. What are you doing here isn’t this place far from your home.”

It coward deeper into the bark of the tree.

“Don’t worry i won’t hurt you i just want to help you.” i got up and walked towards the tree and put my hand into the fallen tree trunk that was next to the pup and pulled out the med kit i opened it and took out some bandages and a few painkillers along with my favorite beef jerky. I leaned over the pup it whimpered. I had to wrap the wound or it would hurt her more.

“Look i know your in pain but please let me help you. I’m going to have to touch you in order for me to wrap up the wound i don’t want you to feel anymore pain okay. Look here i have some beef jerky i’m going to put some of these painkillers in it” holding up the items in front of the pup. “ here you go please eat it i don’t know if you like beef jerky.”

The pup just stayed staring at me and kicked the beef jerky out of my hand with its tail.

“ okay then tiffany. Go into my bag and take out the meat that was supposed to be for dinner and give it to me the pup needs to take the painkillers before i wrap her hind leg. If i do it now it’ll just hurt her more.” i turned to her “its okay i’ll buy more later on our way back.” She simple nodded and went to go grab it i took out more painkillers and took the meat from tiff and put the pain killers in it i showed it to the pup and it took the meat ate everything along with the painkillers i took the opportunity and went to her hind leg and started wrapping it up. Ii heard a twigs snapping and looked over to tiffany. She nodded and jumped up the tree to a branch where she could hide and shoot if needed. I stayed focused on the pups leg till it started to whimper.

“Oh god i’m so sorry pup. Did i hurt you?” i said with worry coating my voice. I heard a growl come from behind me and the pup barked happily towards it. I didn’t bother looking behind me knowing it was either the pups sister brother father or mother.

“Look wolf behind me. I’m sorry i hurt her i thought she was a human i didn’t expect a little pup to be so deep into the forest especially so close to a cliff.” i sayed still finishing up the wrap for the pup i took out more meat from the bag since the pup went to go bite my hand.

“Here you go pup.” i took another piece out and leaned backwards while sitting down to face the wolf behind me.”here you go wolf.” i said holding a piece of meat in my hands, “tiffany you can come down now-” “Ow. my ass hurts now i landed on it i slipped off the branch. Okay what do you need jas.” i had gotten up and started laughing my ass off at her i lowered my mask and told her, “ Tell jackie and jess to come down imma need help with this wolf and her pup.” she nodded and went to the tree to call them down. Ii lent back to face the wolf but i couldn’t spot her. I got up and looked around. I looked to left no wolf. I looked to my right and squealed. “Dammit wolf you scared me. Do you want to watch how i help your pup.” it leaned its head to the right and sneezed. “I’ll take that as a yes. Come on sit.-”i said patting the spot next to me the wolf sat down and put her head next to the pup. “Okay almost done wait here for 2 minutes while i get the scissors in order for me to tie and cut the leftover bandag.-” i got up leaned into the truck of the fallen tree and ended up having to stick my upper half of my body into the trunk because i couldn't find the scissors. “Growl.” hold up missie i need to find the scissors. I could feel tugging on my skirt. “HEY stop it.” i got out and turned around to find tiffany jackie and jessica on the floor unconscious. I looked up and saw Tony and 3 of his guys with a cloth in their hands. s**t chloroform they knocked out my girls with chloroform. These sons of bitches are dead i looked at the guy to the right and behind tony and saw him staring at the pup who was now up with her hind leg up and growling i walked over to her with the mother wolf right besides my growling i took out my little swiss knife from my bag. Tied the bandage and cut the extra off. I looked at the pup and nodded the mother nodded as well her eyes were saying. ‘Don’t worry human i’ll get my pack in order to help you out thank you for helping my pup even though you were the one who harmed her. I’ll get my pack since must people would have left her injured. We’ll get help at least you and your friends bothered helping her.’ i nodded back to her. Picked up the pup put her on her paws and signaled for them to go. They left and i stayed staring at them for 2 minutes before

i heard a twig crack near me. I got up and “fainted” landing in tony's arms. He started stroking my hair while his guys picked up my girls and put the against the trees. I heard a zipper tony moved to look at what was happening i saw that they had tied and gagged my girls. s**t that's it. I moved a little for tony not to notice. I made it so i could reach inside my bag i pulled out my gun. Luckily i had changed the bullets to the real ones the ones that could take lives. “Tony.” i said in a whisper voice while holding my gun close to his head. He turned around and now my gun was pointing at his head.
