Nova When Jett woke up with the alarm, it was 4am. I was still in his arms. Once I felt him slowly waking up, I turned to look at him. When we met eyes, we held our gaze. This was the last time for a while I was going to get to see him wake up with his hair all messy, and his eyes in a haze. The way he’d yawn and stretch his arms, and I’d stare just a little too long at his toned arms. Only to have him smile at me, and then kiss me. For at least three weeks, I wasn’t going to have this anymore, and the pain in my chest started to grow, as realization hit me. I could tell Jett was thinking about it too because we both weren’t moving, just staring. Both taking in the other as much as we could. Time seemed to slow, but it still wasn’t slow enough to make this moment last as long as I wanted
