This was not happening. I was not about to lose her, or the baby. I just got her back. I only got to hold her for a second. I needed her to be okay. Zeke rushed her to the pack doctor, and once he took her the doctor said to give him space and he would let us know the second he had information. I shifted back and kept pacing outside the office. I wanted to tear apart everything in that room to rush him, but I knew that wouldn’t help either.
It was raining too, and I didn’t care. I just wanted to know what was wrong with her. Nicolai was inside the office in one of the chairs in the waiting room. I couldn’t be there, I just had to keep pacing around, and the office was too small for that.
