I thought I knew what it was like to be angry. Now, I was fuming. I wanted to burn down the entire forest until I found Gale, and I knew Jett could tell. That was why he didn’t let me out of his sight. He was sending out groups of vampires and wolves to comb the forest looking for them, trying to get them before they got too far. They had taken Gale as soon as the sun went down, and sun up was in four hours, so they had to be trying to find somewhere that was covered.
