I started to get ready in the morning, and sent out the wolves who were helping with the search for Gale. The vampires were on standby until night fell. I joined Connor as we started to place microphones around the cottage and the surrounding area. Since we couldn’t exactly be at the cottage in case they smelled us, we still needed some sense of reconnaissance. We even had four cameras set up. Connor had hooked up the cameras to an app on his phone, and he was testing them all out, making sure everything was perfect. We couldn’t take any chances.
He was nervous, of course he was. Even when we walked away from the cottage, he was still checking up on the cameras like Gale would just suddenly appear. I didn’t blame him. I knew I would be doing the same thing if it was Nova. Everytime
