Chapter 12 The Ghost Temptress

1259 Words
The wealthy student was so scared that he began to sweat. He shouted, “Get out of here! Do you know who I am? One word from me, and you will be kicked out of the school, even out of the city!”   "Oh, then do you know who I am?” Robert didn't give him a chance to answer back before he slapped him in the face.   Although the rich student was aggressive, he was not strong. Robert could even knock him down without the help of the system. After the slap, the guy dared not to speak; he just glared at Robert with anger.   "Since we are roommates, so I will let you off this time. If you mess with me again, it will be more than a slap though," Robert pushed him away and threw the boy’s bag at him.   A man wearing glasses walked in; Robert recognized him immediately; it was William.   When William saw the rich student fall to the ground, he immediately rushed over and asked with concern, "Hey, bro, what's going on here?"   "This brat just hit me!" The rich boy covered his face and pointed at Robert.   "Who dared to beat my brother?” William looked up and locked eyes with Robert.   "Oh, Robert... Mr. Robert. I didn't expect you to be here..." William's legs trembled a little when he saw Robert. He had personally witnessed Robert's power.   "Are you Robert who beat Bruce James and Anthony?” The wealthy student's eyes widened.   "So, what if I am? So, what if I'm not?" Robert got out of bed and walked to the door, slamming it behind him.   "We've definitely met troubles this time..." William and the student looked at each other.   It was dark out when Robert walked out of the dormitory. He used his ghost eyes to look at the young, rich women walking by. If his master, Jason, knew he had the ability, he would envy him. Robert searched for his target, walking to the back hill of the school. Suddenly, he saw a girl in a dress running toward him in a panic; numerous little ghosts were chasing her.   At this time, the night was getting darker, and Robert walked in the street with his ghost eyes open to have a look at the young and rich ladies. If his master knew he had this ability, Jason Brown would envy him. Robert searched for his target, and unconsciously went to the back hill of the school.   "Come on! She is the boss's wife!" They shouted as they ran after the girl.   "Help me, help me..." The girl was ready to collapse, but she couldn't stop, or else they would catch her.   At first, Robert didn't understand why there was black and gray fog surrounding her. She was clearly a ghost, Robert realized, but he was unsure if he should save her or not. However, she was by his side before he could make the decision.   "Exorcist, help me!" She begged with fear in her voice.   Robert sighed, thinking that he should change his clothes so that people would not know he was an exorcist. He took a deep breath and thought about using the Sword Method to Kill Demons. Pulling out his Divine-level Laser Sword, he rushed toward the ghosts.   The first shot! The second shot! The third shot!   With only three swings of his sword, the ghosts disappeared without a trace, leaving Robert completely stunned. Every time he attacked, the blade had a thin glimmer of lavender light around it, which then exploded like a chain bomb when it touched the ghosts.     The Supreme exorcism was indeed horrible; Robert couldn't help but let out a groan. The battle lasted less than half a minute, and he only received a few dozen points.     "Go away quickly and don't let them catch you again," Robert told the girl while he dusted off his clothes.   "No! They are chasing me all over the mountains! They catch me no matter how well I hide!” The young temptress took Robert’s arm and said flirtishly.   "Then what do you want to do?" Robert didn't want to know the answer, but he had to ask.   She pursed her mouth and said, "You are so powerful. I want to live at your house! You have to protect me!"   Hearing her response, Robert almost choked on his own saliva. It sounded like a movie, the hero saved the beautiful girl, and then she wanted to marry him.   When Robert didn't agree immediately, the young woman fell to the ground and cried, "My parents don't want me, and now even the exorcist doesn't want me! You are all horrible!"   "You can be with me, but you have to be obedient. You have to be invisible all of the time, nobody can find you, and you cannot cause trouble. Do you agree?" Robert felt as if he had no choice but to help her.   The temptress nodded with tears streaming down her face.   On the way back to the dormitory, Robert asked, "Miss, what's your name? And, why do the ghosts chase you?"   "You can call me Jessica," the young girl said with a smile but suddenly lowered her head, "I had a serious illness; my parents abandoned me in the mountains. When I died and became a ghost, a dreadful ghost in the mountains fell in love with me. It was the first time he saw me but still asked me to be his wife; I refused and then escaped…"   Robert looked at the girl, who looked to be about eighteen, and couldn't help but feel bad for her. It was rare to see such a kind-hearted ghost, let alone one so beautiful and tempting.   Back to the dormitory, the rich student and William greeted him quickly.   "Robert, please forgive my rudeness earlier! It was all my fault, and I apologize to you. You are the boss in this dormitory from now on!" The wealthy student pleaded for forgiveness.   "Yes, Robert, you are so tolerant. You aren’t going to hold this little misunderstanding against anyone, right?” William quickly asked.   "Oh, so your mothers also sell themselves to pay for your fees?" Robert laid on his bed.   "Yes, you are right," William bowed to him.   Robert hated this kind of person and said coldly, "Get out of my face!"   William and the rich student were speechless and went to bed.   Suddenly, Robert felt something pressing on him, and he opened his ghost eyes. The ghost girl was lying on Robert, pathetically asked, "Robert, can I sleep with you? I'm afraid..."   Robert almost forgot that the ghost girl was with him. He looked around and saw that there were no empty beds in the bedroom. Even though she was only a ghost, he could not let her lie on the floor. Again, he felt like he had no choice when it came to her, "Yes…"   Robert deliberately lowered his voice to prevent his roommate from getting suspicious.   Hearing this, the ghost girl was excited. It put its arms around Robert's neck and kissed his face, "You are the best!"   And, then she embraced, held on tightly to Robert, and closed her eyes.   Was this a blessing or a curse to bring back such a difficult little girl!? Robert was a bit upset. It seemed that he needed to think about how to help it.   "Robert, I'm so hot..."   In the middle of the night, Robert heard something.
