Francine had wrapped up selecting all her groceries and was heading by the cashier so within the process of picking up the groceries to cash the same man that was targeting them earlier was trying to hold a little small talk with Francine, “Sweetness, lemme hold a little something nah?” said the man and Francine told him that he cannot have anything and within a fit of rage, the man hurled insults at her, she alerted the guard and apprehended the man, “ Soldier, give me a little bligh nah, I was just joking.” Said the man and with that the guard strike two lashes at the back of the man’s head and throw him out of the Mall, onlookers took in the action as he was escorted out of the mall by the guard. When the man was outside he hurled threats at Francine as she heads towards the car park and putting her groceries with Kimberley on tow, “ You play you ignoring me I go do for you, I go do for you.” He shouted for onlookers to hear and watch so as Francine packed the remainder of the groceries she told Kimberley to fastened her seatbelt and then Francine walked towards the man and a big argument ensued at the carpark as customers took out their smartphones and watched the drama unfold and then suddenly the man made a mistake and slapped Francine down on the ground, “You’s a fricking cunt.” The man said and Francine countered with an uppercut right on his chin, the man flew and hit hard on the ground, “ You want to fight, I’ll show you a fight.” Said Francine and with that, the man still wants to confront Francine and with that, she hit him one right punch across his face and another punch to his balls, and one elbow at the back of his neck causing him to fall flat on the ground. The crowd cheered Francine as she had gotten to find out that the man had outstanding warrants and was wanted on multiple crimes such as r**e, s****l misconduct, and credit card fraud. Francine as she put the foot on the gas couldn’t wait to meet home after what she had experienced at the moment, “ You see Kimberley, just what I told you, we women have got to learn to defend ourselves or we will land up in two places either on a stretcher or in a casket.” said Francis as she sped down the highway on her way to Water Creek Heights. Kimberley held tight to her testament with tears flowing down her cheeks, “ Aunty Francine please don’t kill me.” She said and Francine upon realizing what she was doing had decided to slow down as with the emotions that she had, they could’ve ended up in an accident or worse, “Kimmy, I am so sorry I had no idea I was putting your life in danger.” said Francis, she easily took her foot lightly off the gas and slowed down to 50 miles per hour upon reaching to their home. Kimberley went inside the house while Aunt Francine stayed outside and unpack the groceries from her car, through the living room, Kimberley’s eyes were looking at trophies, accolades, and certificates that Aunt Francine had received in her younger days as a kickboxer she even was featured in the Giselle Salandy Memorial Tournament where she won for three straight years in 2019 to 2021, “They used to call me Ferocious Francine in those times as my fighting skills mimic that of the Late Kimbo Slice with how he was aggressive in his skill.” said Francine. Kimberley wanted to know more about her aunt Francine as she gazed upon accolades of her accomplishments in her golden years, Aunt Francine had told her that she was raised to fight at a young age of twelve becoming the youngest fighter at the age of fifteen to win three different Kickboxing Tournament and that her two role models she cherished growing up as a fighter was Giselle Salandy and Kimbo Slice, she told Kimberley that there were days that fighting was the only drug nulls the pain from dealing with the outside world and that her fists were her way of survival since her mother died from sickle cell and the father left her with his grandfather since he didn’t want to take care of her, “ My grandfather was the one who trained me to fight in the first place sometimes we would sit for hours watching home movies and look on the internet for battles. My grandfather was my eyeball but there was one fight that he couldn’t win and that’s old age, he passed away when I was fourteen years old on the night that I won my first kickboxing competition, came home and found him in his bed watching my match peacefully with a smile on his face, “ So why didn’t you go pro and hit the leagues?” Kimberley asked Francine with tears in her eyes had told her that the manager that was responsible for her going to the league embezzled and took all the savings she had and put it in a Ponzi scheme, she braced him at the airport as he was about to catch the first plane out of Trinidad and head to the States and she hit him at the side of his left ear and with the force she punched him caused him to succumb to internal bleeding of the brain and hemorrhaging, “ I was charged for first-degree murder at nineteen years old but the judge sentence me to one year in prison as the manager was had a matter pending involving in embezzling money from a renowned casino and since the judge secretly owns the casino I got off easy.” Said Francine. Kimberley couldn’t help but feel compassionate towards her aunt as she tells her story, “ I was banned indefinitely from fighting in any major tournaments, stripped of my rank and titles, and was left with a total of $1.45 in my bank account, my biggest dream was to join the WWE and be with the greats in women wrestling like Charlotte, Nia Jax, Naomi heck even Becky Lynch or even Bayley.” Said Francine, Kimberley took out a small teddy bear from her pocket and hand it to Aunt Francine, “ This is for you, you may not be a hero now but you’ll always be a hero to me.” Said Kimberley with a smile on her face and with that Aunt Francine looked at the bear and tears came down her eyes as nobody ever gave her anything good since her grandfather died. Kimberley asked Aunt Francine if they could pray and she humbly accepted the request as they bowed their heads and closed their eyes and this was Kimberley’s words: “Dear God, if you are listening from above open your heart and mind with an everlasting love. I am asking that you put your hedge of protection over this house from the smallest ant to the tiniest mouse, we as women don’t have much to give but our hearts are pure so we may continue to live, guide us through these times for the blessing that we may about to receive and let us not be wary and be easily deceived. You made the ultimate sacrifice and with that you save the world and gave a new life, protect us from the darts of the enemy for every moment that he doesn’t want us to be free, let us walk through the valley of death, to be able to forgive and not be filled with regret. Let us depend on you God and lean not on our own understanding and guide us to be kind, gentle, and forgiving, you sacrifice your only son to save and liberate the helpless and lost, be a shining beacon through the trials of tempest-tossed, Thank you God for sending Jesus who went on Calvary to die for us, revered as a true fisher of men with that I have to say. Amen.” Aunt Francine opened her eyes and looked at Kimberley and had felt a calm presence emulating through the room, it was like someone else was in the room with them, “ You are a true child of God, let me be your guardian wherever you go I go teach me more about this man called Jesus.” She asked and Kimberley as young as she was had been able to teach her Aunt Francine the Bible, the more she knew about Jesus, the more she became at peace and didn’t need to use her fists to solve her problems, Aunt Francine had a new hope, a new purpose in life, she felt lifted as she prayed with Kimberley, Aunt Francine taught her how to fight and how she could defend herself but combining with the word of God, it was about teaching Kimberley to control the outcome rather than the outcome controlling her, for that whole time that Kimberley was staying by Aunt Francine they grew really close to each other to even eat from the same bowl. The following day Aunt Francine went back to the Station to find out if Andrea’s case was called and the female officer made them know that somebody had already posted bail for Andrea Alexandia. Aunt Francine and Kimberley both bewildered asked the officer who posted her bail and the officer responded by telling her that it was a man by the name of Barrion Alexandia and with that Francine froze like if she saw a ghost, it was like she did zone out a bit. The officer was a bit worried as Aunt Francine stood there for absolutely five minutes, “ Excuse me, are you okay” asked the female officer and Aunt Francine quickly snapped back to reality and told her that everything was fine and with that, she took Kimberley and rushed out of the station in a hurry and quickly drove to a village by the name of Mafian Alley while Aunt Francine she was cold sweating in the process. Kimberley asked her who was Barrion and Aunt Francine told her that the man was their cousin and that he is the leader of Mafian Alley District, a serious gang that had links to the Columbian Underworld responsible for the supplies of guns, drugs, and the trafficking of women to and from the Caribbean, he has loyal soldiers in every Caribbean country, their biggest payout was the trafficking of women who were sold under the black market for big amount of cash to senators, lawyers, bankers and high profile businessmen to be used to their benefit., “ The reason why I am in fear is that Andrea is a potential target to be sold into trafficking and from the color of her skin as she is fair, she could disappear for at least 50,000US to be the most. Kimberley couldn’t believe what she was hearing but she had the benefit of the doubt as Barrion wouldn’t think to sell his own family member, “Kimmy, I witnessed Barrion hacked his own mother to death because she stole $50,000.00 from his personal bank account and gambled it out in a casino, when they found her body, minced meat ain’t want nothing on her so if he could do that to his own mother what is us?” asked Aunt Francine, “ What about his father, I’m sure he could intervene?” said Kimberley and Aunt Francine made her know that the father died protecting Barrion from being shot some years back, “ The father was executed Al Capone style as the mother put out a hit on him because of two things money and power.” said Aunt Francine. Kimberley couldn’t begin to fathom this as it seems like all of her family members had been involved in one situation or the other. They came to Mafian Alley and the area was heavily guarded by Barrion’s men equipped with high powered rifles, the gunmen told her to wind down the glass, “ Wait Ferocious Francine come back a yard to visit the bossman and a who pickney you have with you?” asked the gunman and Francine told him that Barrion’s little cousin, “ Yeah girl allyuh Alexandia’s don’t hide at all, signal the bossman that he has visitors and it, long time relatives.” The gunman said and with that, they traveled through the village of Mafian Alley, “This is Barrion’s domain he runs this village he controls when villagers had to eat, sleep s**t, fart or even go anywhere because he owns all the businesses in the area including the schools sorry for the language.” Said Aunt Francine and then Francine stopped by Barrion’s house and it’s a mansion with three cars parked up in the yard.
