Toxic Diapers And Peers

Adam woke up to the sounds of the cries of Sebastion. He rolled out of his bed and raced to his son's room. His little one had one leg over the bar of the crib. Little guy was trying to make a getaway. Adam scooped him right up. He knew seconds after entering the room what the problem was. The smell coming from the boy child was enough to make anyone want to race right out of the room. He swore he saw a green cloud behind his son's butt.

"OK, so I see you need a new Diaper." He said, placing the still crying child down on the changing table. Wrinkling his nose, he got to work taking off the most toxic diaper that had ever been smelled. After he got him washed up and into new clothing, he tossed the toddler in the air. Earning him a screaming laugh. Adam felt his chest fill with love hearing his child's laughter.

" You ready for some dinner?" He asked him." Or do you want to play for a bit first?"

Sebby babbled, slapping his wet drool hands on his daddy's face. He then reached out and grabbed his hair and pulled. It caused the man to wince at the pain. He did a shuffle to grab a toy. He tried to entice the child into letting go of his hair and taking the toy. Which earned him another drooling smack to his face.

" I give please let me go." Adam said as he got his son's hand free. It caused the young child to let out a cry, then he laughed a bit as he wiggled around. Adam set him on the ground and let the toddler walk towards where his plastic cars were. He found a seat on the floor and played for a bit with his son. This was the type of thing he loved to do. Just playing with his son and making memories.

After almost an hour, they both left the room to locate some food for both of them. Walking down into the kitchen, it was found to not have any drama. Matter of fact, he had not come across anyone else on his way. Once in the kitchen, he saw James talking to another pack member. Both men seemed agitated by what they were talking about. Adam went right over to see if he could offer support to his love.

" I don't give a damn about what she wants. So don't even bother bringing them to me again", James said in a deep growly tone. Hair was already forming on his forearms. Adam reached out and laid a hand on his mate. The other man found his mates staring and moved closer.

" I was only trying to let you know Alpha." Came out of the man's mouth.

" Thank you for sharing this information. How about we all go sit and eat?" Adam said, feeling both men needed a break from the topic before James went all wolf on the other.

The Alpha couple took their seats and, with their son in his highchair, the kitchen staff began to serve everyone. They all ate last after everyone else. But the staff was rotated out, so it made things fair. Tonight's meal was venison steaks, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas and carrots, and dinner rolls. There also was a garden salad for those who wished for it. Adam fed his son some of the mashed potatoes. His boy got as much on him as he did in him. Adam and James talked about things dealing with the pack. Neither brought up the conversation from earlier before dinner or what they had talked about before Adam went and took a nap.

As the dinner began to die down and pack members began to leave the room. Some came by the table to ask questions. None were anything big but still, as he took care of his baby, Adam paid attention and in his mind made notes if more than one pack member brought up an issue. He knew it was easy to not see if there was a bigger problem when all you could see was the little ones. One reoccurring issue was missing farm animals and stolen produce created by their farmers. Something made him want to discuss this more with James later in private. He had a few questions his Alpha could answer for him.

After the last pack member left the room, James looked over at his family and smiled at them. His handsome face lighted up with the love he felt.

" He will probably be asleep soon." James said, looking at his messy child.

" Yes, it is bathtime now then storytime. Do you want to read to him tonight?" Adam asked him.

" If you do not mind?" The alpha said, searching his mate's eyes.

" No, let's get him all ready for his papa to read to him." Adam said, grabbing their son and taking off towards their suite. James was looking forward to spending time with his son.
