How it all started
"Shea I am getting married to my sister's fiancé" narrated a frightened Paris to her best friend. Paris and Shea had been best friends since high school. A few minutes earlier, Paris had called her and told her that they had to meet right away as she had something important to tell to her. "Okay, you need to calm down and tell me what happened." Said Shea as she gestured for Paris to take a deep breath. Paris took a deep breath and then continued, "A few weeks back… 3 weeks earlier… It was a rainy afternoon and there by the glass door stood a girl in her twenties, her skin was mocha and had a black curly hair tied into a side bun. She was staring through the glass door watching as the rain poured heavily outside. The view outside was a little foggy but one could still see the paved way from the glass door up to the gate a distance away. Once standing outside the glass door one could see the little greenhouse garden standing inches away on the right side and the beautiful drenched green grass right in front of the greenhouse and the little paved way leading to the greenhouse’s door. "You know Paris, I think it'd be better if you went outside and stand in the rain instead of just standing there! I mean you've been there forever watching as the rain falls down." Said another girl from across the room. She was holding a book reading and behind her, half of the wall was filled with shelves where different books hung. The girl looked exactly like the one standing by the window, whom we know by now as Paris, and the one holding a book from across the room was Payton. Paris Moore and Payton Moore were two identical twins and though they were black, they were born in California and lived there until they were five when they moved to Ottawa in Canada. Paris was a quiet girl whereas Payton was the crazy one and had a mole on her neck which was what could tell them apart. They both loved music and reading. Even though they were twins, but their mother Katherine Moore liked Payton the most. She was the older twin because Paris was three minutes younger than her. Their father, Edward Moore was a man in his fifties who ran a journal called "Morning Breeze". The twins were their parents' only children. "And how on earth are you reading that book without your glasses on?" asked Paris ignoring what her twin sister had said. Payton sighed as she put her book down "I told you Paris, I'm never gonna wear glasses again. From now on, I'll be using contacts. Besides, it's not like I am going to be wearing glasses in my wedding gown" Paris looked at her and narrowed her eyes, "What about those blurry visions you've been having now and then?" Payton sighed as she put her book down and looked at her twin sister, "It's been three days in a row since it started and I had it this morning too before wearing the contacts and I don't know why!" "So when are you seeing the doctor? It might be something serious, you know. And that is not good for someone who is getting married in a month and I don't think Richard would like that either" said Paris. Richard Randall was Payton's fiancé. He was one of the most handsome eligible bachelors known and he was the heir to one of the biggest companies in Ottawa, Real Motors Co. This made him literally every girl's dream man. His father, Robert Randall was the founder and CEO of the company. He was such a good and generous old man in his late fifties. Robert's wife, Lilian Randall was a strict woman who liked everything perfect and smooth. In her late forties, Lilian was a good baker who owned a renowned bakery known as "The Lily Pastries" and she even had her own TV Show, "Lily Bakes" where she would share some of her baking skills. It was not a crime to say that Payton was one of the luckiest girls on earth to get married in such a family. Payton rolled her eyes and slightly shook her head as she looked back at her sister "Now you sound like dad." Both of them laughed at this and Payton continued, "Well, I do have an app— At that moment their mother popped her head through the door interrupting her, "Payton it's time to go see the doctor. You have an appointment remember?" "I do remember mom." Replied Payton who turned to look at her sister "well, see you later Paris." Paris nodded her head as her eyes followed Payton who was heading to the door. A few inches from the door's entry, Payton staggered a little and started rubbing her scalp as everything around her went blurry. "You okay Payton?" asked Paris who was watching her sister the whole time and started moving towards her. Before she heard any reply from her, Paris saw Payton fall down unconscious. She fastened her steps towards her practically running and started screaming, "mom, dad come here." In half a minute both parents were there and looked with wide eyes as they watched an unconscious Payton lying on the floor.
