Chapter 5: Midnight

After constant arguing and planning, the three girls finally agreed on snatching the file at midnight, when the whole school would be asleep. As the clock struck 12, they found themselves in front of the white doors of the principal’s office, getting prepared for anything. “Okay, so we go in, look for the file, and immediately leave!” Gloria whispers bossily. “Let’s go!” Diana whispers. Carefully walking in, “Okay G, you search there, D, over there, and I’ll search right here” April states. After a few minutes of searching, Diana found it! “I got it!” Diana says excitedly. “You did?! Take it! Let’s leave!” April replies. When Diana and April reach the door, they notice Gloria looking at something. “GLORIA COME ON!” Diana whisper-shouts. “Hold on!” Gloria says as she takes a photo of a paper for unknown reasons. "Weren't you the one who told us to immediately leave once we found it? The irony." Diana says dramatically, rolling her eyes as she does. “What’s that for?” April asks. “I’ll tell you later. Let’s just get out of here first.” Gloria replies. They run out, running back to their dorms, falling back asleep.
