Chapter Ten I’d noticed the boy before but never paid him any mind. He generally sat in the same seat, on the left side of the lecture hall, five rows up. Far enough away that his features were indistinct, but the coloring and silhouette were almost identical. After class, I found him loitering in the halls, talking up a pretty girl, and asked if he would pose for me. His name was Giancarlo, he said, and he was curious if any payment would be involved.
