NEWSPAPER REPORT – VICTIM TURNED SUSPECTED KILLER ON THE RUN
The increasingly bizarre murder case involving a deluxe nightclub owner took another unexpected turn today, when investigators revealed that the charred remains once thought to be Rodolfo Del Vecchio, might be the body of a former employee who went by the alias Paolo Cornigliano, a man whose sister, Christina, was once Del Vecchio’s fiancée. The day prior to the murder, Leos Kozlowski, an attendant at the garage in Florence that housed Del Vecchio’s Mercedes noticed that it was missing. “I didn’t think much of it at the time,” Kozlowski told investigators. “Rudi had an extra set of keys and would sometimes pick it up or drop it off when we weren’t around.”
