Chapter 4 : Run Away?

"I don't mind it, it's not your fault anyway. Thank you for trying to help me yesterday," Adeline said instead of thanking Issac because the man had intended to help her.

Issac turned his face away when he saw the girl smiling at him. Suddenly, Issac remembered that he didn't know the girl's name yet, so he took advantage of the situation to find it out.

"I don't know your name yet, may I know it?" Not wanting to show his nervousness, Issac confidently asked Adeline.

Adeline was surprised again when she realized that she had not introduced herself, "I'm sorry, you can call me Adeline."

For a moment, Adeline could feel like talking to someone normally, usually, the other person would talk to her with a curt or full of shout.

The pleasant atmosphere was soon destroyed when Adeline heard that she was called back with mind link by Caroline. "Damn! I have to leave now.”

Adeline's face turned pale and the girl looked very panicked. Without saying anything else to Issac, Adeline immediately went to the pack house to meet Caroline.

Issac, who was again abandoned by Adeline, could only stare blankly at the girl's departure, it seemed that Adeline was really being treated inappropriately here.

Because he is only a guest in the Moon Blast pack, Issac chooses to ask his best friend, Steven who is the new Alpha of the Blood Moon pack for some advice.

Issac decides to return to the guest house that given by Anthony for the attendant of the Blood Moon pack, and intends to meet Steven there.

Arriving at the guest house, Issac immediately looked for his friend's whereabouts, after looking for the young man around the guest house for a long time.

“Steven!" called Issac when he saw Steven from a distance.

"What's wrong, dude?" asked Steven in surprise when he saw that Isaac wasn't usually looking for him.

“I want to discuss something with you."

Steven frowned even more surprised, it seemed that his best friend had serious things to say to him. It was unusual for the overly relaxe person like Issac to have a serious conversation like this with him.

"Then it's better to talk about it at home." Steven also invited Isaac to talk in their guest house.

After sitting together on the sofa, Issac started his conversation about something that was bothering him.

“Do you think I would be allowed to take away Alpha Anthony's youngest daughter, if I asked the man for permission directly?” Without further ado, Issac immediately said what was bothering him at the moment.

Steven instantly spat out the water he had just drank, very surprised by what Issac asked. "You are crazy! Why did you take that girl away?!” said Steven wide-eyed in shock.

Issac wasn't bothered by Steven's surprised reaction, he was still lost in his thought. “I think that girl is… my mate.”

Steven felt like his best friend was stabbed with a knife, didn't they visit the Moon Blast pack to look for his mate, why did his best friend find his mate.

"What is this! Why did you even get a mate!” Steven said frustratedly, he had visited almost the entire pack, but had not yet found the mate.

And his best friend, just returned to his pack and now found his mate! What kind of destiny is this, is the Moon Goddess messing with Steven!

“That's not the case now, i***t! My current situation is very difficult!” Issac turned to glare at Steven.

Steven grunted in annoyance, but still gave his opinion to lighten his friend's burden. “It will be difficult to talk about Adeline with Anthony. You saw for yourself how that man treats Adeline.”

“But I suggest you to try talking to Anthony. If the nice way doesn't work, then you just have to take the girl away by force,” Steven continued lightly.

Issac nodded his head in agreement with his friend's opinion, “You’re right. But, do you think that girl will hate me if I kidnap her?”

Steven rolled his eyes at Isaac's stupid question, then lightly hit the man's head. "You i***t! Who wouldn't be angry, if you kidnapped someone!"

After that, Steven got up from his position and walked away leaving Issac alone in the living room.

Issac shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly and decided to try the first way, if it didn't work, then he did the rough way to get what he wanted.

Adeline secretly sighed tiredly, she hasn't eaten anything since morning and now she has been instructed by Caroline to help the girl get ready to attract the Alpha from the Blood Moon pack that just arrived last night.

"Hey! Stupid girl, do it right, watch out if my hair gets damaged because of you.” Caroline warns Adeline who is currently styling Caroline's hair.

“Hmm," Adeline answered slowly and shook her head slightly so she could focus on what she was doing right now.

Adeline's head was spinning now from exhaustion and hunger, but she didn't dare to leave her current job. It would be terrible, if Caroline complained Adeline to Anthony, Adeline might be punished like last night again.

When Adeline was busy doing Caroline hair. Caroline, who had hair, was playing with her smart phone, without thinking about Adeline, whose face was already pale.

“Today I have to attract the attention of that man, for that I have to look charming. And for you, don't be like yesterday, go away and don't show your face to our pack guests!” Caroline turned to glare at Adeline and warned her not to act like yesterday.

In her heart, Adeline grumbled, "You were the one who complained to our father and got me punished again." Adeline could only say that in her heart, it was certain that she would be beaten if she said that directly to Caroline.

“Now bring me my clothes," said Caroline after feeling that her hair was neatly arranged.

Without saying much, Adeline immediately went to get a suit that would be used by Caroline in the closet. When Adeline wanted to bring the suit to Caroline, she felt her stomach hurt and prickle.

Adeline just sighed softly and tried to endure the pain.

“What are you waiting for, hurry up! Bring my clothes here!" said Caroline curtly at Adeline, who looked stand still.

“I'm sorry," Adeline answered more quietly, then walked back to Caroline to bring the girl's suit.

“Why are you so incompetent!” said Caroline taking her clothes from Adeline with a tough thump.

Because of Caroline's tough thump, Adeline's body swayed. Because her head was spinning and her stomach hurt, Adeline fell unconscious.

“What happen again with this stupid girl! Why are you always causing trouble for me,” said Caroline annoyed, still not aware that Adeline had fallen unconscious.

Caroline also rocked Adeline's body which was lying on the floor with her feet, then the girl frowned when she didn't receive a response from Adeline.

When Caroline was going to check on Adeline's condition, she suddenly felt that someone was pushing her away from Adeline's body.

"What have you done to Adeline!" a man snapped at Caroline.

The man who turned out to be Isaac immediately examined Adeline's body, which was lying helpless. And glanced sharply at Caroline.

Issac lifted Adeline's body and walked away from Caroline's room.
