Chapter 32 – Getting Out
Dale exited the prison and grinned. They were out. Now they just had to get off the planet. They had left by a side exit, and now stood in a little-used corridor. The tunnel was well-lit, but narrow and silent.
“I think this corridor takes us towards the train,” Cole said.
“Won't they be looking for us there?” Dale asked.
“Unlikely,” Zack said. “Think of the enormous size of this place. Think of how many trains there have to be on a single track just to keep everyone moving. Leland doesn't have enough men to patrol every station and every train car all the time. And even if he did, it would be a waste of manpower. It's a lot easier to just control access to and from the planet, and then use the security cameras for everything else. Am I right, Cole?”
