Chapter 35 – Casualties
Nat grumbled under his breath. Someone had disabled the cameras and locked other users out. It must have been Olav, but why? Nat could turn them back on, but it would require rebooting the whole system, and he was reluctant to do that unless it was absolutely necessary. Also, he prided himself on his ability to delegate authority, and he wanted to trust that Olav was doing something productive. Still, Nat was curious, and he wanted an explanation. He had already tried to call him, but the man had disappeared. He thought for a moment, and then called Colonel Higgins.
“Yes, sir?” Higgins asked through the comm.
“I can't find Olav. Do you know where he is?”
“Last I saw, he was heading for the maximum security wing.”
Nat pondered that for a moment.
