Chapter 6

Mission Eclipse

Harry walked into the library, slowly he walked to a shelf and stood there gazing at the books.

“Can you read at all?” Sakura asked as she stood beside him gazing the bookshelf.

“Shut up.” Harry replied without looking at her.

“So, what is the news?” Sakura asked.

“He was right, a large amount of wine is going to a same place in Queensland from different traders. The place is supposed to be a shut down hotel.” Harry said as he took a book from the shelf and looked through it. After looking at it he put it back on the shelf and walked out of the library. Sakura pulled out the book and took a small piece that was put into it by Harry, an address was written on it.

Sakura walked into the secret base in the library. After going through few doors she opened up in the base lab, Deicide was watching the public surveillance cameras, Andrew was standing beside him, Jill and Jane were practicing in the arena.

“You were right, someone is ordering huge amount of wine from all the traders to the same location. It’s in Queensland.” Sakura said handing over the scrap of paper.

Deicide smirked and asked, “What about the details of the place?”

“Chris is surveying the place, he will be reporting anytime soon.” Andrew said.

“Okay so everything is on its place. Now everything is riding on our main leads.” Deicide looked at Jane and Jill.

“The place is quite huge.” Deicide said watching a footage taken by spider drone.

"Yeah, it used to be a five star hotel during the war, the owner invested in other fields but as the war ended he went bankrupt and had to shut down the hotel.” Chris said.

“How many people were spotted inside it?” Deicide asked.

“At least thirty. No fighters or armed men.” Chris replied.

“Those thirty are also the ones who are being manipulated by Dion. Our plan will work.” Deicide said as he saw the workers working. Deicide stood on his place and turned towards the team.

“The plan is ready. When will be the next wine delivery done?” Deicide asked Harry.

“Monday of the next week.” Harry said.

“We will be executing the mission on the exact day. We will enter the hotel through one of the barrels. As far the footage shows, they are not checking the barrels, it will be easy to enter the hotel without being notice, the more we avoid conflict the more will be our chances to win. Once we infiltrate the hotel, finding Dion won’t be a difficult task.” Deicide said.

“The next task, the poison. Harry and Chris will put the poison in every barrel that will be heading for the hotel, a day prior to our mission. Taking in consideration that this wine will reach Dion at the same day we arrive. Success rate of this plan is quite a few so, the other one is injection during our fight.” Deicide said, the team looked tense, “This won’t be easy either, but we have to gamble upon it. You guys have to try you best.” Deicide said.

“Leave it to us.” Harry said.

“I will be there of course but in case each one of us will carry a bottle, the one who will have a best chance will make it happen. Once the poison work is done, Jill will do the part of her work. The rest is all in the battle.” Deicide said.

“What is the success rate of this plan?” Andrew asked.

“Forty out of hundred.” Deicide said.

“You are quite honest.” Sakura said smirking.

“I don’t want lie beside it is best to make you aware of reality, making false statement will get us nowhere. It’s been three years, a lot may have been changed, Dion might have gone weak or have grown stronger, the intel we have is not enough, still on the basis of what we have this will work.” Deicide replied.

“Even if you have said thirty percent we would have gone for that, this is our chance, this is what we have been raised for.” Jane said.

“We will make up for the rest of sixty through our strength.” Chris said and Jill nodded.

“Till here, we never stood any chance against them and now when you are showing us that it is possible, how can we back down?” Harry said.

“Let’s do this.” Sakura said.

“Mission Eclipse is on roll, all that left is to hit it right.” Deicide said with a determined look.

“Big Brother Dion, your powers are cool, you can manipulate anything .” little Deicide praised Dion.

“Isn’t it? It needs a bit modification, once it is done I will use it to protect you and Cassandra.” Dion replied clutching his fist. The scenario changed.

“You are weak, Dei. There is no need of such a thrash in the Zodiac household.” Dion said as he stretched his hand.

“No Big Brother, it hurts, I am scared, the dreams.” Deicide pleaded but Dion showed him the most horror of the world.

“Weaklings don’t need to live.” Dion’s words rang in his head.

“Deicide, Deicide.” Andrew’s words rang in his ears. Deicide woke up, he was covered with sweat.

“Seems like you didn’t get a sound sleep. You slept on the chair.” Andrew said, offering a glass of water.

“Yeah, I was a bit drowsy.” Deicide said as he took the glass.

“Don’t tell me you are scared. You are the one who showed them hope, if you back out now, I won’t forgive you, may be I will kill you.” Andrew said looking towards the Mutant team, preparing for battle.

“This is what I like about you, you are threatening a person who is ten times stronger than you.” Deicide said, Andrew shrugged his shoulders. “Don’t worry, my resolve is not weak enough to be shattered by the weak bonds of my family.” Deicide said as he clutched his fist.

“Be ready the mission will start off within few minutes.” Andrew said, Deicide smiled.
