Chapter 7

The Unexpected

Deicide and the mutant team arrived at the transport station, Harry and Chris were already on the spot. As soon as Deicide and the others got down they headed for them.

“Everything is ready, the trucks will be off soon. We must get on.” Harry said, everyone agreed.

As time approached, Deicide gave the final instructions, “Be aware of your surrounding, your life is in your hands. Our plan isn’t full proof, you are aware that your life is at stake, you all have your reasons to do the task, don’t let your resolve weaken.” Everyone nodded, Deicide continued, “Harry and Chris load us in and drive it to the place, once we are in, you too, infiltrate as well.” Harry and Chris nodded.

Harry and Chris loaded the barrels occupied by their companions. As Harry and Chris were about to get in the truck, Chris stopped.

“s**t, I forgot the transmitter.” Chris exclaimed.

“Man, how can you be so irresponsible?” Harry asked. “I will tell them to send it, we will wait till then.” Harry said pulling out his phone.

“You people head out, I will catch up with you soon.” Chris said, “I can do it trust me.”

“I will tell Andrew to come half way, come back soon.” Harry said as Chris rushed towards the base library, within he a blink of eye he was almost meters away. Harry drove the trucks towards their destination.

Harry stopped the truck, few men came out from the hotel and started to unload the containers. As soon as all the containers were unloaded, Harry turned back. After reaching a safe distance from the hotel, Harry got down of the truck and waited for Chris.

“How long is this stupid going to take?” Harry spoke to himself. Harry waited for few moments, then he turned to the back yard of the hotel and infiltrated it.

Harry walked towards the man hall way, carefully he sneaked into the hallway, he could clearly see the men keeping the containers in the hallway.

Suddenly he noticed that the containers were grouped in two parts. Harry watched the mars that were placed upon the containers carrying others. The containers were also parted in two groups.

“What on the earth are they doing?” Harry said.

“Place this bunch in the banquet hall, the chief wanted to taste some fresh wine.” A man said, “The other half, send it to kitchen.” He added, the others followed the orders.

“This is bad.” Harry said as he pressed a button on his transistor. “Chris, damn you, where on the earth are you?” Harry spoke to himself.

Harry watched the containers parting their ways, Harry thought for a while and followed the containers that were heading for the banquet hall. Dodging the men who were lousy, he manged to follow the containers till the banquet hall, Harry entered into the banquet hall from the other door.

Unlike the other parts of the hotel there were guards in this part. They were carrying weapons, the guards were checking the containers one after the other. Harry watched in patience the marked container was the next one.

“Let it be Deicide, let it be Deicide.” Harry prayed.

The guard opened the container, as soon as the container opened the armed guard pointed their guns towards it, slowly from the container rose Sakura. Harry cursed.

“Hands back.” The guard said, Sakura raised her hand, and the guns rose high in air. Suddenly a guard from the rear fired at her, Harry blocked the bullets with his hardening armour.

“Nobody asked for help.” Sakura said as she attracted one of the guns towards her.

“Don’t kill they are under control.” Harry said, knocking down one man.

“A gun can also be used for other purposes.” Sakura said as she turned it around and used the handle to knock the guys. The duo knocked out all the men in the hall.

“Are you going to come out?” Harry said as he patted on the marked container. Jill came out of the container and smiled gently.

“How much bad can be today’s day?” Harry said.

“Where is Chris?” Jill asked.

“That i***t forgot the transmitter, and went all the way back.” Harry said.

“How irresponsible can you both be?” Sakura said. Suddenly the atmosphere grew tense, Harry, Sakura and Jill looked at the rear entrance of the hall.

“What is this feeling? As if death is walking in the abyss.” Sakura said.

Soon footsteps were breaking the silence in the hall. The nearer the footsteps came, denser the atmosphere became.

“Now then, looks like we have some rats in the hotel.” A figure walking towards the hall could be seen through the transparent door.

The figure pulled the door and light fell upon his hands, a Z tattoo similar to Deicide was carved on his back hand. Harry grew stiff with fear, the pressure that was put by his mere presence was tremendous.

“Dionysius Zodiac, the twelfth Zodiac.” Harry said.

Dionysius walked in the hall, he was wearing a black tuxedo, his skin was fair, his hair fell to the left side, he was as tall as Deicide but his built was different, Dionysius took a step ahead and raised his right hand.

“It’s been a while since I had wine from a bloodstained hand.” Dionysius said as he stared at his hand, then he averted his sight to Harry and clenched his fist. Suddenly the trio could feel the bloodlust rising from Dionysius.
