CHAPTER 2: A Love in Paris

400 Words
The weather in Paris in spring is beautiful, magnolia flowers bloom, and a sweet fragrance fills the air. Under the shadow of the Eiffel Tower, Clara is leisurely walking, enjoying the slow pace of life in the city of love. Suddenly, she caught the eye of a young man standing admiring the scenery, holding a book in his hand. That is Étienne, a young artist who has just moved to Paris from Lyon. Clara: "Hello, what book are you reading?" Étienne: "Oh, hello! This is a novel by Victor Hugo. Paris has always been an endless source of inspiration for his works." Clara smiled, feeling a strange connection with the stranger. They sat down together on a nearby bench, chatting about literature and art, Étienne's eyes lighting up every time he talked about the paintings he was painting. As time passed, Clara and Étienne often met after work. Together they explored the small streets of Paris, enjoyed coffee at small shops, and watched the sunset from Montmartre hill. One evening, under the shimmering lights of the city, Étienne expressed his feelings. Étienne: "Clara, since meeting you, Paris has become much more beautiful. Do you want to continue writing our story with me?" Clara was surprised and touched, she held Étienne's hand, feeling the sincerity in his eyes. Clara: "I feel the same way. I want to continue on this path with you." However, not everything is smooth sailing. Étienne receives a great opportunity to exhibit his work in New York, which means he has to leave Paris for an extended period of time. Étienne: "Clara, I know this is a great opportunity, but I don't want to leave you." Clara: "I understand, Étienne. This is your dream, I will always support you. We can keep in touch, and I will wait for the day you return." After six months, Étienne returned to Paris with success from the exhibition. He brought a special gift for Clara – a painting of the two sitting under the Eiffel Tower, where they first met. Étienne: "Clara, I drew this picture every time I missed you. Now I'm back, and I want to see you every day." Clara: "Thank you, Étienne. I've been counting the days until I get to see you again." Under the sparkling starlight, they held hands and continued writing a colorful love story together in the m agnificent city of Paris.
