CHAPTER 3: Date under the moonlight

In a peaceful countryside of France, the village of Saint-Émilion is famous for its green vineyards stretching to the horizon. That summer, under the silver moonlight, an encounter changed the lives of two people forever.

Marie, a young girl with ocean-blue eyes and shiny blonde hair, was slowly strolling through her family's vineyard. She likes the quiet feeling of night, when everything seems to stop to hear the wind rustling in the leaves.

A light noise rang out behind her, Marie turned around and saw a tall boy with messy black hair. He looked lost but his eyes were full of life and curiosity.

"Sorry, I didn't want to bother," the young man said in a gentle French accent. "I'm Lucas, I'm new here." Marie smiled, "It's okay, I'm Marie. Are you looking for something?"

Lucas scratched his head and smiled awkwardly, "I was just taking a walk, but it seems I got lost."

"Let me show you the way then," Marie offered, her eyes sparkling in the moonlight. "We can go together, if you don't mind."

They began to walk side by side, the story between them opened like a new page in a book. Marie talked about her life in this village, about the peaceful days with her family and friends. Lucas shares about his journey through different lands, the lessons he learned, and his dreams for a new future.

Under the moonlight, they stopped on the shore of a small lake, where the water reflected gentle light from above. The surrounding scenery is quiet, only the whisper of the wind and the sound of water gently lapping on the shore.

"Marie, do you ever think about the future?" Lucas asked, his voice deep.

“Yes,” Marie replied, looking far away. "I want to live a meaningful life, doing what I love and being with the people I love."

Lucas nodded, "Me too. But sometimes I don't know what I'm looking for. Maybe I need a companion."

Marie chuckled, "Maybe we're looking for the same thing. A sincere companion."

Silence reigned, but it was a comfortable silence, as if they had known each other for a long time. They both feel a special connection slowly forming between them.

As time passed, Lucas and Marie became even closer. Together they explore hidden corners of the village, share small secrets and create countless beautiful memories.

One afternoon, when they were together under an old tree, Lucas suddenly said, "Marie, I think I've found what I'm looking for."

Marie looked at Lucas, her heart beating faster. "What is it, Lucas?"

"You," Lucas replied, his eyes shining with sincerity. "Since meeting you, every day has become more special. I've never felt this way before."

Marie felt a wave of warmth flow through her heart. "I feel the same way, Lucas. I think we found each other at the right time."

Their love blooms under the gentle autumn sunlight. They face challenges together, overcome difficulties together and dream about the future together.

One day, while standing on the hill overlooking the village, Lucas took Marie's hand and said, "I want to live my life with you, Marie. Do you agree to be a part of my life?"

Marie looked into Lucas' eyes, filled with love and happiness. "I agree, Lucas. I want us to build a story, a future together."
