01-The Invisible Intruder's Raid Night
Beyond the reaches of time and space, they exist as eternal beings, alluring yet tormented by the passage of years, their veins coursing with an endless cycle of desire and suffering.
Enthralled by the labyrinth of love and hate, they are caught in a relentless pursuit, deep affection, and heartache, teetering between the agony of love and the game of power.
Even as sunlight graces their world, their inner selves remain as dark as an abyss. If you were offered the gift of immortality, would you accept this cursed boon?
...
The air is thick with the scent of seduction.
A luxurious European-style bed, crafted from black walnut, dominates the room. Though veiled by layers of sheer curtains, it cannot conceal the fervent passion seeping through.
The flames in the fireplaces on either side crackle like living sprites, animating every inch of the room with their dance of light and shadow. They paint a scene that melds the eerie with the romantic, ice with fire, motion with stillness, where several faintly visible bodies entwine, radiating an irresistible charm.
Terrible! And here I am, suspended from the cathedral-like dome by a slender wire, forced to watch this X-rated spectacle. Honestly, if it weren't for the all-too-real sound effects, the screams of those women would have sent me over the edge. If I don't act soon, I fear I might lose control from the tension.
Taking a few deep breaths, I descend like a drifting specter, alighting silently on the ground.
Vampires have an uncanny sense of perception. With my invisibility charm and silence talisman to mask my scent and movements, the slightest noise could give me away.
"Your Excellency... um... Your Excellency... You are truly magnificent... Please, I beg of you..." At that moment, a blonde beauty gasps between sobs.
This is just too dramatic, right? I understand vampires have exceptional abilities in certain areas, but to be so over-the-top passionate is almost unbelievable!
Enduring my inner frustration, I cautiously activate the elemental sensing device on my glasses, searching for my target amidst the cacophony, cursing the person who assigned this mission. Even if the millennia-old vampire lord is only vulnerable during these intimate moments, isn't it t*****e for the one carrying out the task?
The spacious room is eerily empty. I scan the surroundings, even scrutinizing the flickering flames, but find nothing. Eventually, I have no choice but to approach the heated scene, forcing myself not to be swayed by what's before my eyes.
Just as I'm congratulating myself on my self-control, almost close enough to investigate without losing composure, a glimmer of light catches my eye. Underneath the disheveled feather pillows lies a gem the size of an egg, shimmering like a night pearl. If not for my sharp vision, I would have easily missed it.
This is it! With this, my life will greatly improve.
Indeed, luck often hides... no, waits in the corners of chaos and passion!
I suppress my joy, but at that moment, my earpiece blares with my partner's ill-timed shouts: "Go, go, go!"
My heart races. I know that voice could be heard at such close range. Cutting the communication line swiftly, I find—what's going on? Why is it so quiet?
I cautiously turn my head to find the man and four women have stopped their wild revelry, all staring at me.
Indeed, they are gifted. To stop on a dime like that, showing their control. But now, facing their collective gaze, I must maintain stillness, pretending to be invisible, hoping their doubts will pass, and they'll return to their "battle," allowing me to slip away.
I hold my breath, like a statue, like a breeze through the mountains, even an intangible illusion...
Strange, I'm nearing my limit of breath-holding, yet they still stare at me.
"Can you... see me?" I ask tentatively.
No response, but the sudden display of sharp fangs from the five tells the story.
"Um, I'm just here to buy some Magic Vermilion. Please carry on, ignore me." I try to act casual, taking a step back, when Louis the Twelfth appears before me.
"Allow me to praise you, Your Excellency. Your prowess is unmatched, a true hero among men. With that, if there's nothing else, I'll take my leave." I glance down, attempting to sidestep him, but he blocks my path.
"I'm being sincere here. You truly are irresistible. Believe me, you'll be remembered forever." I speak with utmost sincerity.
"Why not experience my charm for yourself?" Louis the Twelfth smirks, his voice laden with flirtation.
I step back, but he doesn't chase immediately, clearly having assessed my abilities and confident in my inability to escape. Damn it, I accidentally damaged the communicator earlier; my teammates outside can't assist me now.
"I rarely encounter beautiful ladies from the East." He teases with a smile.
Come on, even though I'm dressed in a tight black outfit that accentuates my curves, I'm wearing a high-tech multifunctional Shadow Goggles and a mask. How does he know if I'm beautiful or not?
"Look at her delicate and supple bone structure, it's not something Western or African women possess." Louis the Twelfth circles me with interest, as if I'm already his meal, his cold gaze sending a shiver down my spine.
"Your Excellency, what's so special about her?" A redheaded woman, clearly possessive of him, looks at me with a mix of desire.
"This is when I should really keep a low profile," I mutter to myself, but I can't stand being compared, so I retort, "I have my unique qualities too, the right curves in the right places, and most importantly, I have sweet lifeblood flowing through my veins. Where do I fall short compared to you?"
As soon as I finish speaking, I realize my mistake.
The lively group play earlier must have awakened their hunger. In the vampire world, the blood of a cultivator is like a rare earthly treasure. As a cultivator, I'm undoubtedly a delicacy.
Indeed, the eyes of the five n***d vampires heat up, their gazes filled with both l**t and greed.
If I don't run now, when?
I leap with all my might, but I'm intercepted by Louis the Twelfth mid-air, then pressed down onto the bed.
The four n***d female vampires quickly disperse and regroup around me, making me feel like a lamb on the chopping board, not to mention the very noticeable object pressing against my stomach.
"Sweetheart, let me savor you," Louis the Twelfth says, his excitement palpable.
I struggle, "Come on, to kill and then to violate is bad enough. You're not going to treat me as a delicacy too, are you? Let go, let go!"
He laughs heartily, "You're quite the character, still able to c***k jokes in this situation. Alright, if you behave, I might spare your life and make you my pet kitten."
The four beauties immediately grumble in discontent. Clearly, they're not thrilled about me monopolizing the vampire lord's attention, but their discontent doesn't stop them from touching my body with their ten hands.
Damn it, I'll make you my pet bat!
I close my eyes, waiting. Not for rescue, because that's an impossible hope, but for the scream that's bound to come.
Once again, it's proven that thorough defensive preparations are essential. As their claws touch me, the smell and sound of roasting meat burst forth, and the five vampires jump back with screams, a truly spectacular scene!
I seize the opportunity to jump several times and head straight for the hanging wire, grabbing it.
"Ha, did you think I'd come unprepared into the lion's den?" I boast, "This outfit is woven from pure silver threads and nanofibers, not only highly elastic and breathable for quick movements, but the silver threads have been blessed with holy rites by Prince Arthur. Ordinary silver weapons can't touch a vampire of your caliber. I never underestimate my opponents..."
I can't help but sigh; my original plan was to ascend and finish my speech, looking suave and cool as I escaped. Louis the Twelfth would have been able to catch up, but it would have been easier for me to evade him outside with more space and my backup.
But... damn it! Damn it! Damn it to hell!!
The more high-tech the equipment, the more likely it is to malfunction. As I was ascending and speaking, pressing the electronic control for the wire, it didn't budge, leaving me hanging there like a fool, provoking my opponent with a lifeline.
In an instant, the vampire's incredible healing ability kicks in, and the insulted Louis the Twelfth snarls as he pounces towards me, gripping my neck, and touching me at will, his bare body rubbing against me, making me want to gag but almost making me laugh.
