Chapter 3

A passionate love story between the princess of a neighboring country and the emperor of Altus.

The novel I am now living in has three main characters.

The female protagonist is Cornelia, the daughter of King Algus and Queen Theresa of Ryver.

The male protagonist is the emperor of Altus, Helion Louis Altus.

And finally...

There's the villain, Eliza Alkim, who will kill the emperor.

The main plot revolves around the two protagonists' love story and the saddest ending they will face.

In other words,

this generation was doomed in the first place.

We're not just talking about bad things that will happen.

From the wedding in the opening, they have already lost all chance of living anything close to an uneventful life.

Helion Altus... The full name is so long that I always forget it.

Anyway, she began studying black magic, becoming a villain who could manipulate the souls of the dead in hell.

She killed her husband, the emperor of Altus, by using him as a sacrifice for the ritual.

All because she wanted the emperor to come back to her, but she failed and ended up killing him.

I remember the way Eliza became obsessed with Helion. I got goosebumps and it kinda creeped me out.

I feel bad for Helion... No, he is still a cheater.

Meanwhile,

after the emperor died, Eliza was executed for the crime she committed.

And the news spread quickly and already reached the neighboring country.

When Cornelia found out that Helion had died, she eventually ended her life because she believed she had no reason to live anymore.

Those are the three people who died in the story. It is truly dreadful.

Helion, the current emperor of Altus, his wife Eliza, and Cornelia, the princess of the kingdom of Ryver.

The story is a tragic yet refreshing tale about two characters who fall in love and choose to be together until the end.

It was a peaceful day. I looked at my brother sitting across the tea table.

The older brother has blonde hair like mine and green eyes that look like the forest. What a handsome man, but the story says he is not a married man.

"Well..."

I grabbed the teacup and slowly sipped the tea.

Without realizing it, she seemed to keep staring at her brother with eager eyes. My brother Eliot called me with a strange voice.

"Eli?"

"Uh? Huh? "

"Why are you staring at me like that Eli? "he grins.

What? nothing brother, I smiled awkwardly.

I immediately took my eyes off my brother.

If I was still reading the novel, I could dismiss this all as some sad story.

But shockingly enough, this is reality.

As I went back to my room and was about to sleep, the maid earlier entered and brushed my hair.

I keep thinking and thinking...

This has to be a dream! In denial

As the maid left, I decided to lie in my soft bed and put a blanket over it.

The real me has to be lying in a hospital bed in a coma right now from the accident.

Or maybe I was abducted by an alien?

At first, I didn't accept this as a reality.

But I can't escape the truth anymore. I'm living a second life!!

Yeah! I can't just sit here and do nothing!

Who else can do something besides me? I know everything about this story.

I'll do everything whatever it takes to stop this tragedy from happening.

That's right, I need to make a plan.

I sit in the chair at my study table and write a plan for what I should do.

First, seduce the emperor.

Argh! What if he didn't fall for my charm?

Second, divorce him and live a peaceful life.
