It’s morning, honey” Cathie said opening the shutters, she walked to the bed and kiss her husband.
Herrick opened his eyes and smiled, Cathie was still bent over him, he drew her on top of him and kissed her deeply.
“hmmm” he hummed “I can’t get enough of you.”
“You shouldn’t.” she said, she pushed at his chest and sat beside him on the bed “Get up.”
“It’s the weekend,” Herrick said “We could just spend the day in bed?” he raised his brow
Cathie shook her head, and learned toward him ”A very brilliant idea!” she whispered “except for the fact that Gabriella would be coming home today and she would be coming with Scott.”
Herrick eyes widen “s**t, I totally forgot!”
“I have always known you don’t have a good memory.” Cathie said and stood
up; she threw the blanket off his body “she would be here let’s say in two hours.”
“That’s a lot of time.” Herrick said, sitting on the bed, he smiled at his wife “We could just-------“
“Do you really know how old you are?” Cathie said disbelievingly “Do you think you’re still sixteen?”
Herrick shrugged “I might as well be whenever I am with you.” He said “And I am with you every day, which means I always feel like a sixteen year old boy.”
“Really!” Cathie dropped her head, then she raised her head smiling at him “sweet mouth.” She jumped on him on the bed.

Two hours later, they were descending the stairs when Mrs. Rose entered into the living room, Gab and Scott followed behind then josh, Stella, David and Angela followed suit.
Cathie and Herrick looked at their selves and shrugged, then they descended the stairs hurriedly.
“Gab!” Herrick said fondly, he hugged her, then kissed her forehead.
“Dad!” she said “I wondered when I did not see you in the porch where you might be.”
“Well.” He shrugged “Here I am.”
“Baby.” Cathie hugged Gabriella.
“Mom, I’ve missed you”
“Me too, honey.”
Gab released her mom and took hold of Scott’s hand, who was standing patiently beside her.
“This is Scott.” She said “My fiancée.”
“Your fiancée , he proposed?” Herrick asked
“Yes, sir” Scott answered
Everyone was silence, then they spoke up almost at the same time.
“Oh my!” Cathie exclaimed, she hugged her daughter “You made it.” Then she hugged Scott, “Congratulations!”
Herrick shook Scot’s hand, he narrowed his eyes at him, then he cleared his throat “if anything should happen to my daughter, you have me to deal with.”
“I promise nothing will happen to her.” Scot said, looking at Herrick square In the eye ‘nothing.”
“Good.” He smiled and pulled him for a hug.
“Sweet girl.” Mrs. Rose hugging Gab, then Scott.
“Our congrats “Josh said, Stella nodded her head she was holding Josh’s hand as if he is going to run away. Some habits never changes.
“You actually make him marry you.” David said smiling
Gab scold at him, “shut up?” she said, then smiled. She turned to Angela “Angela, you really want to be with this guy for the rest of your life?
Angela shrugged
“I can’t imagine.”
“Well, you guys should shower and rest before dinner time.” Mrs. Rose said
“Great idea.” Gab said climbing the stairs, Scot followed behind her.
Herrick cleared his throat, “The guest room is over there.” He pointed to a door opposite the direction of the kitchen “that would be your room as long as you’re here.”
“Dad!” Gab turned at her father
“Okay, sir.” Scot said descending the few stairs he had climbed and headed in the direction of the guest
