S01 EP03: Seven Defender's

Awhile after the meeting, Seven Defender's of the Palace left the throne and they're now on their way to go to their own houses.

(Throne room's maindor closes)

(The Seven Defenders walking on the hall way)

Brax: The majesty has grown up good.

Palasso: Yup!

(Palasso sprints to go infront of them spreading his arms out)

Palasso: But he's in a little hurry, isn't it?

(Lancer walk towards Palasso and stands beside him and holds his right shoulder)

(Palasso being confuse)

Lancer: Just a little. But I know what's in your mind? "I'm still faster though".

(Lancer taps Palasso's right shoulder twice and Palasso looks on Lancer's eyes)

Lancer: Did I get that "in a hurry"?

(Lancer's left eyebrow raise twice)

Palasso: OH COME ON MAN!

(The rest of the Seven Defenders laughing while walking pass through Palasso)

Palasso: I'm just about to say "we could leave in two days".

(Brax raised his right hand gesturing to keep on walking)

Palasso: Or... Somethin'? Just! Not tomorrow! Gaaaaahhhhh!

(Palasso runs to chase them and he walk beside Caster)

Caster: Don't worry Palasso, you are still one of the fastest warrior recognized by everyone. (Winks on him)

(Palasso stopped and blushed then giggles for a sec and then chase them again)

When they reached the main door of the Palace, they separated their path to go home.

Palasso: Ey! See y'all tomorrow at the gate!

(Seven Defender's raised their hands. Palasso smiles as he watch them and then went on his way home)

(Palasso arrived home)

Palasso: I'm homeee!

Dexter, his youngest brother, excitedly runs toward him and hugged him tight. The rest of his siblings rushed on him too. Their grandma is smiling while watching them from their kitchen.

Palasso: Woah! Woah! One by one kids!

Dexter: Guess you are not that fast! Bleh!

Timmy the middle: Big brother is getting slower. And slower...

Nana, the second youngest: And slower...

All of the kids: And slower... AND SLOWER! (tighten their hugs more)

(Palasso pretending to be suffocated)

Palasso: Alright... Alright! You guys got me!

(Everyone laughing)

Palasso, is the 5th member of the Seven Defenders of the palace. He has the ability to move swiftly without being detected and never miss his target. He became one of the members of the Seven due to his speed and fighting skills during the recruitment of the Seven Defenders. In the field of archery, Palasso dominated the field of archery and made his name remarkable in the training camp as the fastest among all archers.

Meanwhile, Caster has arrived in her own house too.

Caster: I'm home mother.

Caster's sister: Just in time... Dinner's ready. Come on!

(Caster and her sister sits down on the chair)

Caster's sister: How was the meeting?

Caster: The majesty has summoned us and gave us a mission of expidition.

Caster's sister: I see... He has decided to look for the Seven Spirits then.

Caster: Also, he wants us to spread mankind furthermore from the palace and eliminate the possible presence of darkness.

Caster's sister: Looks like the majesty is preparing for the possibility of the palace and the town on being destroyed by the darkness.

Caster: He want's to make sure the humanity not vanish alongside with him and the palace.

Caster's sister: That kind of plan sounds like it needs to be executed right away?

Caster: Indeed. We're going to leave the town tomorrow morning.

Caster's sister: Let me give you something...

Caster: Hmm?

(Caster's sister push back her self to the table and stands up to go to the bedroom)

Caster: I wonder what could it be...?

(Caster then looks at the window from their dinning area)

On a different scene Brax, the second member of the Seven Defenders who acts the shield, decided to go to Max's house, the Blacksmith and the 3rd member of the Seven Defenders.

(Brax knocks on the door)

Max: Yeah?

(Opens the door)

Max: Oh it's you Brax! Come in, come in!

(Brax sits down on the chair)

Max: What's up with the visit tonight?

(Brax was still quiet)

Max: Ahh! Let me bring some beer for us to drink tonight my friend!

(Max stands up and went to his kitchen to grab the barrel of beer)

Max: WELL!! Here you go!

(Slams the barrel on the table)

Brax was amused and looks at Max.

Max: Come on, hit it!

(Max tossed a mug on Brax and they both get their mugs filled with beer)

Max: (gulping) Gaaahh! Nothin' compares to this beer! HAHAHAHAHA!

Brax: (sips). I agree. (had another sip)

Max: So... What's up? Really. I know you won't just come over here and sit down to drink with me just like old times. Not until the breach happened though. We all changed after that.

Brax: Max... Remember the question earlier that was asked by Palasso?

Max: About the majesty being in a hurry? Yeah. What about it?

(Quick flash of the scene where the hands of Caster's sister pull out a small chest)

Brax: I was just thinking if the majesty what knows what happened to Sandra? She wasn't been with us for the past few years and often showing her self. Unless if she was being summoned by the majesty. But after that? She is some sort of hidding again.

Max: You're right. But I'm sure the majesty knows that already before he comes up with that plan of expiditions.

Brax: I do hope so my friend...

(Quick scene revealing where Caster's sister is whispering a unfamiliar language and the small chest glows and unlocked)

Max: We all know, including the king, that Sandra lost a lot from the breach which affects her feelings to Lancer.

Brax: She lost her father from the first assault of Diablo's forces on the first village they live which is known before as Dark Village.

(Quick scene flash revealing the chest stops glowing as Caster's sister pick what is inside of the small chest)

Max: Her mother's origin is during the first generation of mankind and was the first woman who discovered the ability of Goddess Athena that doesn't get old.

Brax: But that doesn't make them immortal, right? And until now, Sandra's ability is still strong which makes her to be the number 1 above all and first member of the Seven Defenders.

(Quick scene revealing Caster's sister closes the small chest and then turns to ashes slowly)

Max: Yes. Rumors before that Sandra's mother tried to aim for the ability of immortality so she went to the valley where Xavier calls Goddess Athena just to ask her to give her that ability and she promised to Goddess Athena that she won't use it from evil doings.

Brax: Ahh... The story of a woman on the valley? I've heard that too. But I didn't know I'm not sure if that is Sandra's mother.

(Quick scene reveal where Caster's sister is facing the wall and the red glowing light shines reflects on the wall)

Max: Goddess Athena forbid her from learning that ability which causes her to get mad and-

Brax: Because of her great desire and determination she decided to leave the village and went somewhere...

(Brax and Max stopped gulping and looked at each other into the eyes)

(Quick scene reveal where Caster's sister turns around to face the door and opened her eyes and room surrounded by light)

Max: A story also spreads in town where a woman from Dark Village believed that found a debri from the underworld. Do you really think that the rumors are true?

Brax: Possibly. If we're going to connect of another story that one of the new generation found a child in the bush near the town's gate who was believed that was left by a woman in a black dress.

Max: Which turns out that the child that was found was a daughter of the first spell binder who has the ability to use dark magic?

Brax: A woman in black dress...

Max: Dark Village...

(Both of them gasps and looks to each other)

Brax and Max: NO WAY...

Meanwhile... Dianna, the 6th member of the Seven Defenders, arrived to their house carrying two large boars to share with her pet. Dianna was known as one of the tallest among the field of combatants and the first woman who wields a big hammer that is twice of her size. Due to her strength and height advantage, determination and performance in training ground, she became a member.

Dianna: IM HOMEEEEE!!

(Her pet tigers rushed towards her and Dianna tossed the two large boars to them)

Dianna: Take it easy boys... You guys will stay here and defend the palace in case of unexpected events. Alright?

(Tigers nods a gesture of approval)

Fangz, the seventh member of the defenders. He wields two short scythes and known to be the first one to master two weapons and use it effectively in combat. He is the only one that's left in their family and he carries the grudge against Diablo and his forces. He gained the name Fangz as he likes to give a death stare on his enemies while smiling, placing his short scythes on his both cheeks which makes a resemblance of two big teeth.

Lancer, the fourth member of the Seven Defenders was the fastest among the rest of the members. He managed to defeat Brax and Max. But when he spar with Sandra interms of power and speed, he failed to defeat her which makes Sandra still the strongest member. But for him, to be recognized by the majesty and the people as the fastest among the members is already a wonderful blessing from the Goddess Athena. Lancer was known of his excellent speed which he masters the agility and endurance. Rumors circulating around the camp that during his first training to explore the wilderness a huge explosion was heard an when Brax and Max rushed in they saw Lancer standing from the smoke and it was believed that the explosion came from his attack with fully charged piercing strike made a huge hole which is now serves as the lake near the palace and town. Rumors also has it says that his father discovers a strand of fur that was from the remains of the Wolf, one of the seven spirits which grants him the ability of speed and endurance and developed their power that now Lancer has.

Lancer made it home as well and as soon as he arrived, he starts to pack his things up and while he was getting his things ready, he heard his door opened.

Lancer: Is anyone there?

(Lancer raised his hand and his spear fly towards his raising hand before he proceed to check the door)

Lancer: Well... That's weird... If that's you Palasso I will give you the victory this time. Didn't see ya comin' so...

(Wind blowing and the surrounding was quiet.)

Lancer: Yeah... You win.

(Lancer closes the door)

After checking, he proceeds to go back to his bedroom to continue packing his things. While packing up his thing's he saw the coin that was given to him by Sandra.

(Lancer picks it up and stares at then smiles)

Lancer: Been a long time number one... What happened to you...?

Lancer put the coin inside his pocket and after he finished packing up he steps out of his room and turnes off the light. An unknown entity appeared near his bed as he turned around. He then proceeds to his living room and took a coin out of his pocket then lays down on his long chair.

(Flipping the coin on his fingers)

Lancer: The expidition will begin tomorrow...

(Grabbed the coin)

Lancer: I hope thing's goes smooth and will go accordingly to majesty's plan.

Lancer tossed the coin again but it was higher this time and the coin hits the ceiling.

Lancer: Oh man...

Causing him to miss the catch and the coin rolled over the floor going to his bedroom door.

(Lancer facepalms and looks at the ceiling wondering how he missed the catch)

Lancer: How did I miss that? I'm pretty sure I can still catch that even if the coin hits the ceiling...

(Lancer stands up and walk towards the coin)

Lancer: Welp!

(Picks up the coin from the floor)

Lancer: I won't let you be out of my sight.

(Flips it again on his finger)

Lancer: I should have done the same thing for Sandra...

(Lancer grabed the coin and raise it on his eye level)

Lancer: How are you...? Number one-

(His bedroom door in front of him suddenly opened)

(Unknown entity emerged from the dark)

Lancer: WHAT THE-?!

Lancer raised his hand and the spear flies towards his hand but unfortunately the unknown entity catches his spear and strikes it on the ground. Lancer grabbed the middle of the spear and it became a short spear and he swings his weapon to hit the unknown entity but the attempt failed because of the circle magic shield appeared that blocked the attack causing a loud explosion and shakes the ground.

Unknown entity: Too... Slow...

(Lancer gasps)

Lancer: What?!

(Lancer jumps back to make distance)

Lancer: That voice... The spell just now... Is it-

The Unknown entity removed the veil and turns out it was Sandra. Lancer was shocked and dropped his short spear. Sandra smiles at him and he quickly hugged her.

Lancer: I missed you so much! What happened?

(Sandra hugged him tightly and brushes his hair)

Sandra: I'm sorry Lancer... I didn't mean to make you sad. I was just trying to settle some things that my mother couldn't fulfill.

Lancer lets go of the hug and looked Sandra on her eyes and his both hands reaches Sandra's cheeks and slide his thumb slowly back and fort while admiring her beauty and then kissed her. As soon as they finished their kiss, Sandra's face slowly having cracks and almost breaking.

(Lancer felt it and getting worried)

Lancer: What's happening to you? S-Sandra?!

Sandra: I came here to see you for the one last time, Lancer...

Lancer: Wha-What do you mean?

Sandra: The only thing I have regret is not saying a proper goodbye to you before and left you...

Lancer: Its okay... I-I I understand...

Sandra: I don't have much time left to explain everything... But look on my eyes for you to see... What I have seen...

Sandra showed to Lancer the reason why she have to leave and hide in their house. She was fulfilling her mother's wish to strengthen the barrier from the Dark Village to avoid the opening of the left portal from the underworld. Sandra's mother has to stop the evil souls to escape from the portal since she accidentally opened it. When she met the Dark Orb, he was disguised as a surviving priest and promised Sandra's mother to grant her wish of immortality. But first, she needs to perform a ritual and without her knowing that will cause removing the barrier in the Dark Village which keeps Dark Orb trapped. Due to Sandra's mother's determination and deperation, she performed the said ritual. She didn't notice the process of unbinding and then Dark Orb reveals his true identity. Sandra's mother tried to bind the barrier but from a distance, she saw a portal opening from the underworld. Now that the barrier is lost, she is not able to stop Dark Orb to leave the Dark Village and she had no choice but to prevent the evil souls to go out from the portal. Unfortunately, at the same time, Sandra's mother's womb hurts and droplets of blood flower from her. She is panicking and blaming herself to what is going on right now and decided to let go of the spell she is using to stop the underworld portal. She prioritized to give birth to Sandra which was born in the Dark Village. When Sandra's mother successfully gave birth to her, she made a grabbed a piece of burning emerald then placed it on her chest and wrapped it with her so she won't be touched by the evil souls flying around the Dark Village and some of the souls left the village already.

For Sandra to be safe, her mother decided to go back to the palace town's gate but because of her short time remaining, she had to leave Sandra on the bush and give Sandra the knowledge to use the dark magic and her remaining strength which she can use when she reached the right age. Sandra's mother having her one last touch and glance to her before she turned into particles to sacrifice her life to close the portal. As she does it, the evil souls from the Dark Village and near the village we're absorbed back in the portal but unfortunately, Dark Orb and some other evil souls are already far away and Sandra's mother wasn't strong enough to send them back to the underworld so she have no other option but to close it and hope for the next generation which is Sandra, to look and stop Dark Orb with other evil souls that are lurking freely around the surface of land.

After Sandra showed her vision to Lancer, she turned in to particles at the same time. Lancer watched her dusts fly away up to the sky with tears in his eyes and regretting.

Lancer: If I only knew about that... If I only knew her more! I could help... I can help her and she can live longer!

(Lancer grabbed his spear and strikes the ground which causes his house to collapse slowly)

Lancer: I... Lancer, the 4th member of the Seven Defenders hereby to leave an oath of honor.

(Ground shaking)

Lancer: I will avenge Sandra for she sacrificed her life just like her mother...

(Ceiling falling to pieces)

Lancer: I will continue their mission... To destroy Dark Orb and his forces of evil in the surface land...

(Lancer closed his eyes)

Lancer: Sandra... Give... Me... POWER!

(Lancer opened his eyes that glows red and then the whole house collapsed)

Going back to the moment of Caster and her sister in their house... Caster's sister handed over a burning emerald that she took out from the small chest.

Caster: What's this?

Caster's sister: Take it...

(Caster reach her hand to take it and the burning emerald revealed a name carved on to it)

Caster: What's this? And why your name carved on it?

A sudden flash of light appeared on Caster's sight and saw the same vision Sandra shared with Lancer.

(Burning emerald carved name changed to C-A-S-T-E-R)

Sandra: That is yours now... You are the third generation of our kind and the inheritor of our mother's Dark Magic.

Caster: But... Why me? Did the majesty know all about this?

Sandra: You are the only one who can do it. That burning emerald came from underworld which was used to protect me. When you reach the age of an adult, you will see the full power of the Dark Magic.

Caster: Does that mean only our bloodline can carry this?

Sandra: Not exactly. We can share the dark magic to the one who we love that has a place in our heart. But if they are not strong enough to control their emotion and let the evil feelings take control on them, they will die.

Caster: Never trust the evil...

Sandra: Indeed my sister. So now... I hope you will have a safe journey. Mom and I, will be watching you...

(Sandra vanishes into a smoke and travels to Lancer's house)

On Max's house where he and Brax are having a drink...

Max: Well I think maybe we are just making our self believe in rumors and stories to be true.

Brax: Come to think of it, each rumors has connection to one another.

Max: Yeah... But they can be just some sort of fables and the story maker just decided to connect them all to be more interesting.

Brax: Does that "story maker" really just making stories to be believed? Or Sandra's mother was the one who actually made the story?

Max: Or maybe... Sandra was the one who wrote the story for her mother?

Brax: HAHAHA! Mystery...

Max and Brax: SOOOLLL-

(The ground shakes and a quick red light struck somewhere and sends a black smoke after)

Brax and Max head out to alert the guards and to prevent panic in town.

Palasso: What was that?!

Max: I-I can't tell!

(Palasso smells the scent of beer from Max's mouth)

Palasso: MAN! Are you drunk?!

(Max walking wobbly)

Palasso: Sorry big man, you ain't fit to fight this time. I gotta do this to you!

(Palasso used his bow and arrow with a rope to wrap Brax's leg causing him to fall on the ground)

Max: Aaarrrggghhh!

Palasso: My apologies! It's bed time!

Max: YOU... WILL...

(Max rolled over)

Max: PAY... FOR...

(Max tried to reach on his foot but can't reach them due to dizzyness and sleepyness)

Max: THIS...

(And Max fell asleep)

Meanwhile...

Dianna: Caster, prepare a barrier from distance. Make sure the town's people will be safe.

Caster: Got it!

Fangz: Where is Sandra and Lancer!

Brax: I don't know!

(Majesty arrives like a flash of light)

(Seven Defenders salutes to Light)

Light: What is the situation here?

Brax: Situation is undercontrol so far. Caster is protecting the town's people. Dianna is guiding the people to go inside Caster's barrier she raised.

Light was sensing a strong amount of power approaching to their position and it was fast. The strong amount of power that Light sensed just passed through them and left them shocked even the majesty while it travels outside the town heading to the valley.

Palasso: What was that?!

Fangz: It's so fast I didn't see who it was!

Light stares at it telling himself that he thinks that he know who it was.

Light: Palasso, perform a surveillance from the top of the palace. Deploy your first batch of exploding arrows for perimeter visual.

Palasso: Yes my majesty!

(Palasso sprints out to go to the palace)

Light: Standby on the town's gate. Make sure no one comes in and out after me. Also, be ready just incase.

Brax: Consider it done!

(Brax hops out)

Light: Fangz, perform stealth check to the wilderness near the palace town. See if you can detect something unusual. After that, go with Caster and Dianna to assist the people and prevent panic.

Fangz: On it!

(Fangz struck his short sickles on the ground and cast his listening spell to hear from miles)

Light flashes towards the direction of valley to chase after the strong presence of red flash of light. When he arrived, he saw Lancer with black aura and burrying his spear.

(Light landed a little far from Lancer)

Light: Lancer...?

Lancer: Grrrrr...

Light: It's me soldier...

(Lancer turned around)

Light: La-Lancer?!

Lancer summoned his Dark Emerald Spear and attacks Light aggressively. The valley was having sparks around it because of the weapons clashing from Light and Lancer.

Light: LANCER! IT'S ME!

(Lancer continues to attack aggressively)

Light: I'm friendly! What ever got in you...

(Lancer roaring with anger)

Light: You have to take control of it!!

(Light used a spell to release the Dark Magic and fuse it to the coin in Lancer's chest)

(Lancer lost his balance)

Light: I got you soldier...

Lancer: My majesty... Wha-

Light: Don't talk save your strength.

Lancer: I didn't mean to... Hurt anyone...

Light: You didn't hurt anyone or anybody. Don't worry. Alright? We'll find away to-

(Caster released a healing spell from dark magic)

Light: Wha-What?!

Caster: He'll be fine my majesty. He will regain his full human-strength after this.

(Light lay down Lancer on the grass and stand to look at Caster)

Light: What's the meaning of this? Did you do this to Lancer?

Caster: I didn't. I sensed Sandra's presence to him so I hurried and this what I see. I think he figured out Sandra's dead and couldn't handle his emotion well.

Light: Dea-? Sandra is still alive! She is in their house. Wait... Hol-

Caster: Sandra is my sister. She has the ability to hide her presence which only me and one of her love one's can know it.

Light: And you hide it from me?

Caster: Not all things is for you to know. The same thing to the things that you know but you didn't tell us all about.

(Caster looks to Lancer)

Lancer: Gaaahhh...

(Lancer stands up)

Lancer: What just happened?

Caster: Don't worry. We keeping this as a secret.

Light: Show me what really is this? And I will let you both see about the things I know but not telling you about.

Caster walk towards Light and touched his forehead while looking him in his eyes to reveal the same story that was revealed by Sandra to Lancer.

(Lancer walks to Caster)

Lancer: Show me what I did earlier? Please?

(Caster nods and touches Lancer's hand)

After Caster revealed everything, Lancer and her witnessed the things that Light was hidding and they all decided to keep it all as a secret between them. They decided to head back to the palace town and witnessed everyone are getting calmer.

Brax: I'm glad you guys made it back!

Lancer: Of course man!

Light: What's the situation now?

Fangz: Everyone are sent back home since Caster assured the surrounding is safe. Brax, me and Dianna are still on guard just incase.

Dianna: Lancer! Where have you been?

Palasso: We've been looking for you man! Maybe you are late? You slow now? HEHE!

(Everyone stares at Palasso)

Palasso: Wha-...? Right...

Lancer: I saw everyone while following that light which we all see. I'm sorry I didn't had the opportunity to tell everyone since you guys are on your positions already.

Brax: Naahh! It's alright.

Max: There is nothing for you to be sorry about Lad. You're good!

(Palasso stares at Max)

Max: Palasso...

Palasso: Max...?

(Max stares angrily)

Max: Get over here!

(Max released his hook to catch Palasso but he missed)

Palasso: I'M SORRY BIG MAN! ALRIGHT?!

Max: GRRRRR!! NO!

(Palasso screaming from distance and everyone was laughing)

Fangz getting suspicious to Lancer. He was right that he sensed Lancer's aura on that red flash and he thinks that Light and Caster was right. Fangz is known for his special ability of strong sense he is very sure about what he is sensing. But this time, he is still having doubts because he doesn't want to break his good relationship with everyone so he just kept being silent. Caster notices Fangz being suspicious so she looked him into the eyes and revealed the truth what happened earlier and Fangz understand's what happened and through eye contacts, he agree with her to keep it as a secret.

Light: Alright! Let us all go home and get plenty of rest while we can. The first ever expedition by mankind will start tomorrow by the Seven Defenders so make sure everyone and everybody, each on of you, will be in a good condition tomorrow.

Seven Defender's: YES!

(Seven Defender's scattered to go home)

(Light travels back to the palace)

Far away from the gate, in a distance, an evil entity was watching them and went back to the underworld to report to Dark Orb about what he witnessed.

Dark Orb: Is that so...

Evil Entity: Should we be worried?

Dark Council M1: A human controlling dark magic? How could it be?!

Dar Orb: Inherittance huh?

Evil Entity: Yes...

Dark Council M2: That is alarming but nothing to worry about it so far...

Dark Council M4: Indeed. Those humans still doesn't have full control of the dark magic.

Dark Council M3: If they forced themselves and used that incorrect, they will be consumed and their soul will be ours.

Dark Orb: Well then... Waste no time councils. Locate the Seven Spirits before the humans lay their hands to it.

(Dark Council member 5, 6, and 7, are just quiet and being observant)

Dark Orb: And you...

Evil Entity: Yes... My King?

Dark Orb: You are going to be the Raven from now on. You will be our eyes in the town.

Raven: Thank you my king... I'll begin my mission.

Dark Orb: Hold your horses there... I want you to do something for me first.

Raven: I'll do anything my king...

Dark Orb: Go back to the surface land and find me a weak human that fits enough to be my vessel. I will use that to see the Demi God by myself.

Raven: Consider it done!

(Raven vanished in front of the king and when he arrived at the surface land, he turned himself into a black bird)

That night, Raven is flying on top of the palace town, begun his search to look for a weak human to become Dark Orb's vessel. He was given by the Dark Orb a power to hide his presence or aura while being near to the town. After few circle roaming around, he finally saw the best fit for Dark Orb. It was an oldman sleeping in his house near the palace town's gate. So he send the gatekeeper's to sleep. Then Raven goes to oldman's house, get to his dream and tricked to chase him even if the oldman gets awake, he will still thought he is still dreaming.

Raven: Over here... Your dream won't stop... You got to caught me first...

Oldman: What are you!

Raven: I am the one created by the Goddess Athena to watch over the humans and guide them.

Oldman: Lies! It's not written nor mentioned to us about Goddess Athena's watcher!

Raven: Your stubborness will harm you... Look what happened to your family? They... Are... Gone...

Oldman's getting angry and he begins to follow Raven. He opened the gate and went to the wilderness.

Raven: HAHAHAHAHA!
