The only thing I ever wanted was for the woman I was in love with to give me a chance. I know she just got out of a miserable marriage, and probably closed herself off emotionally, but why couldn't she see that I genuinely cared about her. When I saw her in the arms of that pompous prick Gerard, I wanted to break his jaw. She looked amazing in that dress. It wasn't as revealing at the one she wore to the reunion, but it still had the same effect on me. When I saw her walking out in search of the bathroom, I took that as my chance.
