Crispen We'd been traveling for days. I don't think any of us have slept at all. Mason seemed determined to reach the end of the trail. Some of us were having doubts. I wanted the walking to be over, but I think everyone was resolute in the idea that we're ready to end this journey. At least this part of it anyway. Some people had to take momentary breaks before catching up. We have spread so far apart you'd assume we weren't even traveling together.
