Chapter 17

1704 Words
The heart in my body was racing, I didn't feel like it before, even when my life was in peril, but for the first time, a wrong decision I made lead to the death of my friend, that poor girl Kinze. "Kinze! No! please, please!" I cried while pounding at the door, knowing it was too late to stop her at all. While I was down to my core, throwing down at the mercy of my soul, my father approached me to sooth me. He knew I was broken, I was teared away by what I did, a accidental murder, or death, or whatever you call it. "She is gone, she is not coming back." that's all I could think of, until my dad grabbed me back to the surface by holding on me. "Hey, Tokyo, you doing alright?" asked my dad. "It was my fault, I killed her, I killed her!" I cried, while weeping like a baby. At that point, I could have used a hug, but there wasn't anyone to guess it out, Kinze would have, but it was her that paid the price today, at least that's what it seems like. "Look, kid, I know it's tough, I understand you think what you did was your fault." said my father, only to get interrupted by me. "It is my fault.. I did this to her.. it was." I cried again, and just then, like in a thundering whisper, a voice came out from all the duplicative Tulios that were hanging around, that's right, the round's not over, at least not yet. "It isn't your fault Tokyo, you tried your best!" yelled Tulio. "Who was that?" I asked as I wiped by tears and set off to find where the voice was coming from. "Tulio? Tulio!" I yelled continusly, knowing it was the real one that yelled out my voice while I approached them. Just then, my dad came back and rushed me back into place, trying to grab my attention. "Tokyo, no! you don't wanna do another mistake again." said my dad. "But.. I can't just sit by.. I need to do something." I said. "I know, but.. if you make the wrong choice, it's going to cost his life, you already made one, do you want to go through it again too?" asked my dad. "Then what do you want me to do?" I asked. "Think, you've always did that, right? always you've thought what was the best, listen, I know you could do this, but remember, emotions aren't the key to everything, sometimes you just gotta let them go to recognize facts from faults." said my dad. It was at that point, I'd realised what it means, I was emotional, that's why I'd lost. I know I made the wrong decision, because what I thought was right, by my emotions, not my facts, that's when the phoenix in me rose that that point. "Okay, okay, I know.. I know we can win this.. I'm ready." I said. "Are you sure? you're really ready to push away all your emotions? are you sure about that?" asked my dad. "Do you want me to do it or not?" I asked. "Relax, I want you to do this, but first tell me, are you really ready to throw away your emotions to achieve your goal? your destination?" asked my dad poetically, and I nodded, I knew at that point, I was gonna make it right. They say third time is a roll, but for me, second was my jackpot, I was ready, I was thrilling. I waved my head across and walked onwards the place, heading straight towards the crowd of Tulios. I knew what I was gonna pick, but I had to be sure, was it facts that's gonna save me? or my love, at that moment, it was the lack of emotions that pulled me through the blaze, but let's leave it at that notch, because things at the next level, is about to take a wild turn of events. No, I'm not talking about the future, I'm talking about Dwayne and Austin, who'd arrived just in time to witness the beginning of a new round, if they succeed, they could pull through, if not, They're dead. "Are you crazy man? what the hell did you do?" asked Dwayne angrily towards Austin while bashing him on the wall. "You can blame me all you want, but know this, those bastards ain't gonna come out of the round alive, and neither will we if we wait for them, I saw a opportunity and took it, I suggest you do the same." said Austin to which Dwayne let's him go, not because his words were comforting, but it made sense. With the situation we're in, there was no way we'd make it out alive, same goes for these guys if they came in there as well, but I'm glad they didn't, at least they're making some sort of effort for us, if they win, we wouldn't even have to go through this, who knew the villains of the story would get to play the heroes? "Please proceed to the door forward, please proceed to the door forward." repeats the voice on the mic to which Dwayne and Austin obey and proceed onward. "If we're gonna die on this, know this is your fault, not mine!" yelled Dwayne. "Shut up, you asshole, let's get us.. holy s**t, what the hell is this?" asked Austin in shock while they witness the highlights of this next round, two big, freakish gothic like half robots with guns and lasers, that was pointing everywhere, until they approach to which it is pointing directly at them. "What the hell?" asked Dwayne in shock, knowing he's in big trouble, but seriously, what kind of sick game is this? "Welcome, children, to my next next round.. Here you will witness the majestic downfall of myth and reality, fades and dust, tales and tragic.." said Mr Manavi through the speakers only to get interrupted by Dwayne as he yelled. "Enough! for crying out loud, just get to the point!" yelled Dwayne back as Mr Manavi silences, which draws the concern on both of them. "Did he just go offine?" asked Dwayne. "What the hell did you do?" asked Austin just when the robots start coming online with a tunic tone that flourishes over the place, I would say we got ourselves in a lottery machine, but the guns kind of take the mood away. Anyways, as they approach, a huge chunk of robotic voice yelled "Simon says, wrestle!" directly at him while they remain numb and confused. "What did he say?" asked Austin. "Think he'd said Wrestle?" asked Dwayne when one of the robot fires down its pistol on Austin's thigh, and the other right at Dwayne's arm and just like Austin he screams like a baby, Dwayne holds out the pain within, and almost takes a knee while tears run down on his eyes. "Why the hell did it shoot us?" cried Austin. "Simon says, Wrestle!" yelled the two robots in chorus, and without wasting a minute, Dwayne grabs onto a hold with Austin, and makes him go for a submission whilst giving him the pain of his life. "Urgh! Dwayne, too piece of s**t! what the hell are you doing?" asked Austin in horror. "I'm.. wrestling! now tap out." said Dwayne. "What?" asked Austin. "I said tap out!" repeated Dwayne, and like a lighting struck, Austin quickly realises what the game was all about, but still doesn't give up through submission as he holds the pain within. "If I do this.. it will kill me! I lose, I die!" yelled Austin. "I don't care, you stupid piece of s**t! just tap out, or we both die!" replied Dwayne while holding the pain of a bullet within his arm. Austin becomes certain that a mismove here, might make a price on his life, hearing no choice awaits, he grabs forth a hold on Dwayne's arm instead and rips out the bullet through the open wound to which he screams. "Man, are you crazy?" asked Dwayne as he lets go, while Austin goes this to get a counter on him and immediately bashes down with the leg drop once he gets up, just like in a wrestling, hmm.. wonder if he really was in one. "You (kicks) stupid.. (kicks) piece.. (kicks) of lying s**t! (breathes after a kick) think you can beat me?" asked Austin while looking down on Dwayne. "Simon says, don't stop, Wrestle!" said the two robots in chorus to which Austin gives down a elbow slam on him on a tiny momentum, it sounded like it gave a huge blow, but the impact wasn't that much, it was just like wrestling. "This is how you wrestle." said Austin holding his leg up high by a pin, and without a struggle, Dwayne let's him go without putting up much of a fight, I'd say he gave up, but no, there was something, rewind it back "Listen to me, I count you for pin, you give up." said Austin before counting on a pin. "No way.. what if I die?" asked Dwayne. "Pin isn't the way to lose, submission is, now let me pin or we both die!" replied Austin back, which is why Dwayne let it go, thinking he would be better off dead, than being dead weight, but hey, they didn't. A retro victory sound is played in the background as "Win Number 1" comes in all display. "Hey, I didn't get killed." said Dwayne, what a lucky bastard, had he knew the truth, this would have been easy. "That's what wrestling is, it's fake, just a show play." replied Austin. "Then why didn't you submit?" asked Dwayne, yeah, why didn't you? "It is supposed to create momentum before winning, you can't just win in one beat, it will destroy the audience and the heat." said Austin, surprisingly it makes no sense, but who the hell knows anything about wrestling here? Dwayne already seemed confused by it. But sooner, as the tune ends, the robots lay down their guns and lasers, and instead take out their chainsaws.
