Now that you have witnessed an entire chapter of Anthea's tale, it's time for a little time of my own, don't you think, let's get back to the Mansion again.
Brief and descriptive as our rest was, we weren't satisfied by it, I mean, it was nice, catching up, having a little fun time.
But nothing equals, flying out of this Mansion with a gold robbed from the ghost itself, once the cameras were back on after the weekends ended, down we go towards another round of death or life.
I woke in a bit early than before, Kinze was snoring little after the sleep she was put, but as I woke her up, and proceeded to go through towards the next door, I already found the rest of the contestants already in place for the next round.
"Look who came late to the party." said Dwayne smiling with his shining teeth. "Yeah, yeah, not like you've enjoyed yesterday anymore than I did." I said. "Oh I did, the pool was amazing, so was the food, but we can't live in here forever Tokyo, one way, or the other, we gotta go." said Dwayne.
"Says who?" I asked. "Says me? guess what, I'm back bitchess!" shouted the operator like a rooster who took a allergy, I wasn't glad by all at his voice, but I didn't complain, they were both right, we can't stay in here.
"Alright, listen to me very carefully ladies, from the earlier rounds, it was just get go, but from now, things are about to take in a real s**t turn of events!" said the operator. "Yes, we heard it before.. god, you're making be bored." said Kinze.
"No, no, no, cuz that's not it, this words were supposed to come in from the previous survivor herself, Anthea, but since she's not here, I'll take my the words." said the operator.
"What do you mean, she's not here?" asked Tulio, concerned by his tone, I could say, frankly, I was wondering what did he think about what happened last night, "He sure didn't look at me since the moment we got here, so was that a no?" I thought.
"She's off to some business overseas, not in Spain, okay? do you want me to continue or not?" asked the operator. "Keep going Operator, we ain't got enough time to sit still." said Austin. "You got there in one piece too? good, okay, listen up, the rounds you'd see are changeable through what the ghost desires, so we can't tell you exactly which is gonna come, but.. I have to say, it's going to be difficult than before, which means, you're gonna play team rounds rather than singles, you got me?" asked the operator.
"Team round? you mean we have to divide ourselves into teams?" asked Dwayne. "Uhm.. yes and no, you see, down that road, there are other contestants, like those natives sicks, you've met before, but they're a bit serious about leaving since they're previous attempts to had failed." said the operator.
"How many are there?" I asked.
"Five or four, I don't know, there could be more, unlike previous rounds, I'll be in touch with all of you all, big money's on your bet now, so remember when I tell you, if you meet a stranger, immediately begin describing him to me, I'll gather what I can, and tell you all the notes about him, got it?" asked the operator. "Couldn't be more clearer, can we proceed now?" asked Dwayne.
"Yes, you psychos, you can, get going, hundreds of people are watching you all!" said the operator as the bell rings in indication. Like horses out to spin on a ride, we all started running immediately this time, it was amazing, best part was when I outranked the speed of Dwayne and Austin altogether, Kinze was in way fast to be beated, but I was getting close to Tulio where he shared a look upon me, which was less soft, I could say he was flirting, but I wasn't exactly paying much attention, and before you know it, we were already in to the next round as the door shuts open behind me, wait what?
"What's going on? hey! why are the doors closed?" asked Dwayne from behind the door. "I don't know, one minute it was fine, and the next, holy s**t, what is this place?" asked Tulio looking around to see thick walls, with rough non reflective glass like surfaces all over the places as walls and floors, I would see through a little, but like a bathroom door glass, it was hard to see through since it was all frosted glass on the surface, and tempered on the floor. I was unable to pinpoint anything on what's going on, until suddenly, bubble like colours on various places started lighting through with a sad old theme music.
"I could hear music, and the place, it's lit with colours, Guys? does this mean the round started?" I asked. "My guess would be yes, we can't wait by, we need to proceed." said Tulio, and he was right, before I looked forward, I'd realised something was missing, but what was it? s**t!.
"Kinze!" I yelled as I ran through the floor ahead as I remembered Kinze went way far than we were supposed to go. "Tokyo! wait! Tokyo!" yelled Tulio as he attempted to follow me as well, and as we went, the ones who are left out too, on the outside, reached out to us in the best way they can, hard knocking.
"Guys! hey operator! Why'd the door shut?" yelled Dwayne in rage. "I.. I don't know, one minute it was fine, then the next.." said the operator in confused, one minute, he was ready to help us, and the next, bammm, he'd lost his mind, as calling started spraling through his office on multiple phones as he was losing his mind.
"Operator! you piece of s**t!" yelled Dwayne in rage. "Okay, calm down, I'm sure this was all part of the game, don't you think?" asked Austin. "What do you mean, part of the game? it wasn't, the game lies in there, we'd have to wait two more rounds till they come back, if they don't return, we'll be stuck in here forever!" yelled Dwayne in rage.
"Oh, that could be bad." replied Austin.
"You'd think?" asked Dwayne in rage which he couldn't control as he starts throwing objects directly at the door, but none was of use, until the transmission once again, opens its line.
"Greetings, my children, I understand you are confused about why the door was shut on you." said a rough voice from the transmission, it was clear this is Mr Manavi this time as Dwayne and Austin look upon one another.
"Fear, not for this is good news, the participants I've had for the next game were in 5 in total, but there were complications, two of them were already there, and when the fifth one entered, it was done, win or lose now." said Mr Manavi. "So, we're disqualified?" asked Austin.
"No, my boys, you are not, from here on out, you are promoted to the next round, the one which is empty of any people, and designed specifically for you, win it, and your friends, could join you on for the one after that." said Mr Manavi.
"Are you saying us to go through the next round, so they won't? this is unfair!" yelled Dwayne. "Shut up, you s**t! don't you get it? they played one round, we didn't, so now, we can play another around, so they don't have to, it's like we both skipped one round, that's it." said Austin.
"Correct, if you wish to proceed, you may go through the door onto the south, which will be open." said Mr Manavi as the door for the next round opens onto the south.
"And if you do not want to head there alone, you may remain here, until they come back, but if they don't, there shall be no bypass, both rounds must be proceeded by the two of you then." said Mr Manavi.
This reply gave him a confusion and hesitation they'd never thought they get. If they wanna play the heroes, they could do the job for us, if not, they could stay here till we return, like villains do, but if we don't, doom goes for them.
"I say we take it, what do you think?" asked Austin. "I have only one foot, sure I can run, but not as fast as you think, we barely got through the previous round alone, how the hell we are gonna do it alone, without their help?" asked Dwayne, feeling the fear for his life.
"I know, I understand you, but, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, if we could get through this, we're another step closer to getting the hell outta here, if we don't, we might have to do both of them altogether again." said Austin.
"We wouldn't need to, the others are gonna come back, we can do this together." said Dwayne. "Screw them! I'm certain they won't come, the longer we stay here, the more riskier our situation is gonna get, why the hell can't you understand this?" asked Austin.
"I can understand it, it's just.. if we are dead, we are dead men, there'd be no point in doing this, I know it's gonna be hard." said Dwayne. "It won't be, we got each other, that's all that matters, now don't be a p***y, just come on." said Austin who attempts to accompany him with him, but as they get closer to the door, Dwayne refuses to go at once to which he steps away. "No! I'm not going!" yelled Dwayne whilst he backed away.
"Are you crazy? we got a opportunity of a lifetime, and you wanna throw it away?" asked Austin. "It won't mean s**t if we're dead." said Dwayne. "If you don't wanna come, fine, your funeral, but I'm going in." said Austin.
"Yeah right, like you're ever gonna do a round, all by yourself." said Dwayne.
"I will, see you never bastard." said Austin walking forth towards the inside of the door, despite Dwayne's struggle to stop him, and before you know it, Austin grabs hold of him and drags him forth to which they both fall down inside as the door shuts away.
