As she spoke Christian moved away from the door. He turned to his brother with a questioning look apparently asking for clarification.
"Division spells are strictly forbidden. They are used to divide a witches magic so that it can be taken from them. The Committee uses it on witches who can not control their magic to protect the public. Or so they say." Alexander
