CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE They were almost to her place when a wave of exhaustion hit Keri. “Do you think you could just drop me at home?” she asked Ray. “I’m really tired. I’ll just walk over to the lagoon and get my car in the morning.” “Sure,” he said and pulled into the small alley behind the building that housed Keri’s apartment and the Chinese restaurant below it.
