Jules fastened her earring in front of the hallway mirror, her long satin gown shimmering beneath the chandelier light. She stared at the face, looking at herself in the mirror, and smiled. Reminding herself, she was going to have to do more smiling if she wanted to appear as the world saw her-fulfilled and happy. Ethan emerged from outside, shutting the door behind him. He adjusted his cufflinks and slipped into his blazer, the tuxedo hugging his form. Then crossing over to where Jules stood and placed his hands around her waist from behind, pulling her close to his body. Jules' smile broadened in response, a little more genuine. "You're beautiful." Ethan said, carefully spinning her so he could stare into her eyes. Jules maintained the smile and placed her arms around his neck.
