The second I shut my bedroom door, I called Roxanne. “I think I’m falling in love with him Rox.” “It hasn’t even been a few weeks Stacey” “I know but, he makes me feel…” “Alive” she finished the sentence for me. We both laughed. “They’re going to meet us here at my house tomorrow after school. Then we’ll pack up and head to the campsite.” I said to her. “Okay, sounds good. But...what do we say to Katie? You know she’s going to ask what we’re doing.” “Tell her the truth, my father invited them.” I replied. She laughed, “Okay, but she’s so going to be pissed.” “Then she’ll be pissed. It’s whatever, seriously. Not dealing with it. Her and Matt are going good right now, but I’m not ruining our weekend.” “Well, I think it’s time we both went to bed.” She said, I agreed. “Just so we’re clear, the two of you have quit smoking.” Katie said to both Roxanne and myself as we stood at the smoker’s corner with her, not smoking.  I glanced up from my phone, taking a break from texting Steven. “Yeah, I just don’t feel the need or want for it. I haven’t since I’ve been seeing Steven more and more.”  Roxanne nodded, “Yeah, since being with Craig I just don’t want to smell bad.”  I went back to texting Steven when another text came in “Can’t wait to spend the weekend with you. Xoxo” I smiled at the screen, not realizing Katie was looking over my shoulder at the screen while we were walking towards the school. “Me too! Roxanne and I will be waiting at my house. So just come once you two are out with your bags and we’ll hit the road. :) xoxo” “Where are you guys going?” Katie asked, making me stop walking. I glanced to Roxanne, then back to Katie “My parents invited Steven and Craig to go camping this weekend when they were having dinner with us last weekend...We leaving today after school and will be back Sunday.” Katie looked between the two of us. “And you’re just telling me this now?!?” “Well, there’s been a lot going on” I replied to her. “Why wasn’t I invited?” She whined. “Well, mainly because my parents asked them to go. It’s his way of wanting to get to know Steven more. Since he is my boyfriend.” I thought Katie was going to freak out, she seemed upset. But then she smiled and said, “Well, maybe I’ll ask Matt to have a quiet weekend just the two of us and how a big party like he normally does.” “That’d be an awesome idea.” Roxanne confirmed. For once, the day flew by. Before we knew it Roxanne and I were waiting at my house for the boys.  “They’re on their way!” Roxanne said as she walked into my bedroom. “Okay, I’m done packing.” I said while zipping my bag shut. The Bronco drove down the driveway just as we were bringing our bags and cooler out to my car.  They parked in the empty spot in front of one of the garage doors, right next to my car. Hopping out with their bags in hand. “Hey beautiful.” Steven said dropping his bag and wrapping his arms around me. I kissed him, wrapping my arms around him as well.  “Let’s go!” Craig called while climbing into the back of my car with Roxanne. “Always so impatient” Steven said, letting me go to throw his bag into my trunk with all the others. I locked up the house and got behind the wheel. It took two hours for us to reach the camp ground. Getting out of the car, we stretched and walked up to the firepit where my parents were sitting. “About time!” My father said, while standing up. “There are two tents over there, one for you girls and the other for you guys.” He stated matter of factly.  I smiled grabbing the two tents from the picnic table.  Steven grabbed one out of my hands and walked with me to the open field. “We can put them wherever we want.” I stated.  He turned his head and raised his eyebrows at me. “Well, then let’s not put them right in front of your parents camper and view.” I smiled back, turning and walking over to an area in the field that couldn’t be seen from their camper or anyone else for that matter. “Let’s make this a little interesting.” Craig said as he walked up with Roxanne. “What are you suggesting?” Steven asked. “We, you and me viruses the girls. Who can put up a tent faster.”  I rolled my eyes and laughed. “You think you two can beat the two of us?”  “Yeah, I do.” Craig snickered. I laughed, “And what do we get out of this?” “You can pick which tent Steven and you stay in.”  “How is that winning? You two do realize that we’re being woken up by my parents at like 5 in the morning to go fishing...you don’t think they’ll notice that Steven comes out of a tent with me while you come out of the other tent with Roxanne? Are you trying to sign my death wish?” Craig laughed, “Okay, you have a point there. When we get home you two can pick a movie for us to go see.” “Any movie we want?” Roxanne asked. “Yes, any movie you want.” Steven agreed. “Okay, but what about you guys? What do you win...if you win?” I asked him. “Whatever we want to you.” Craig said smiling at Roxanne. I blushed to Steven, “I’m good with that.” His mouth dropped open, forming into his sexy lop-sided smile. “Okay, let’s do this then!” Craig said going over to Steven. We got the tents ready, before Craig yelled go and we scrambled to get the tents up.  “I kind of want them to win.” I whispered to Roxanne with a smirk. She laughed, “Me too...but if we win we can basically win twice and still allow them to do whatever they want to us.” She said with a wink. I laughed, “So right!”
