Our Luna is A Witch

Chapter 6

    (Kyle’s Point of view continued)

    After my mate and her cousin left to get ready for our date. I looked at my future father-in-law and asked, “So have you accepted me as your future son-in-law?” He replied, “Yes, but only because of the way you reacted. When someone threatened your mate and pack.”

     That sort-of shocked me I had initially thought that maybe I had reacted too strong. But eventually, I got over the shock and replied, “I honestly thought maybe I reacted too strong. But I was just going on instinct.” Ben laughed before saying, “More often than not the alpha goes on instinct. About pack related things that is but I just thought of comforting my mate.”We all understood that and agreed with it. I teased ben through the mind-link, “Make me look like a bad mate why don’t you delta?” “Sorry alpha but you kind of did it to yourself,” he replied. I told him, “I’m just f*****g with you Benny boy.”

    “Not cool kyle, so not cool do you want me to mention your habit of picking on me to the luna?” he returned. Meanwhile, the trackers had sent someone back to keep me posted on what they had found. “Alpha, honored guests we have found the creature responsible for putting the note on the future Luna’s car. They are currently being held in the place we found them, and we just await your order Alpha.” “Take us to them and I will give my orders out when I can see who they are,” I told him. He replied, “Yes alpha ready when you are.” I turned to the witches and warlocks that were surrounding us and said, “If you are ready to go see the people responsible for all this worry?”

    My future father-in-law responded, “Everyone get your asses in gear these bastards need to pay now.” With that said we all piled into the cars and followed the tracker. After thirty minutes of driving, we saw the group of trackers standing around five people on the ground. All tied to one big tree trunk with high gaged wire made of pure copper.   

    I knew immediately that they were vampires by the pallor of their skin.  Their eyes also immediately gave it away as far as how they felt when they saw me. I mind-linked the trackers and said, “Let me through I need to see them, and no one touches my father-in-law to be. He will be right behind me with his brother and nephew.” The trackers parted to let us through, and the vampires got their first good look at me and my companions.  We all had the most lethal looks you could imagen on our faces. But we didn’t utter a single word.

       After alexia and I left the mall we went straight home and to my room. “Lexia are you ok? You seem a little rattled.” I asked. She replied, “I’m ok just a little rattled but I know our mates and our family will keep us safe.” We then decided to take a shower and get ready. After a quick shower, I donned my undergarments and walked back into my room to find her sitting at my vanity. She was doing her makeup. And failed to notice that I had entered until I was behind her. She looked up at me and said, “Hey daph I didn’t hear you come in. What do you think so far?”

    I told her, “I think you look gorgeous, and ben is one lucky SOB.” She laughed and blushed before replying, “Kyle is a lucky SOB as well but then again your also extremely lucky. And so am I but let’s not allow them to know that.” We laughed and then got down to the business of getting dolled up. First, we did our hair and makeup then I helped Alexia get her dress on, and then she helped me. I loved the color of her dress it is a beautiful seafoam green. Whereas mine is a gorgeous sky blue Kyle’s favorite color. We both have shoes to match. And she is wearing an emerald necklace and earrings. Whereas I have a beautiful sapphire necklace and earrings.

        I hope the boys love our choice of outfits. I look at the clock and see that it says four o’clock in the evening. So I settle down in my favorite chair and start to practice my new spell. By the time I finished, it was five forty-five in the evening. Kyle and Ben should be here any time now. So I got up and walked down to the living room. When I got there I was surprised to see the boys sitting on the couch. Talking to my mom and aunt but mostly I was surprised that they seemed so calm. Even my dad and uncle were calm eerily so.

They all turned towards me when they heard me enter the room. The most surprising thing was that Alexia wasn’t down yet. Maybe she was held up by Xander. Or maybe she had fallen asleep. Just as I was about to go check on her she came into the room behind me. Kyle came up to me and said, “Hello beautiful can I just say how stunning you are? Alexia looks beautiful too, but you just take my breath away.” I looked him up and down before replying, “Thank you handsome you are quite dashing yourself. And Ben doesn’t look too bad himself.”

        After that, we talked for about five minutes more before leaving. I was impressed with how calm they guys seemed. We walked out to the cars and Kyle held the door for me. “Kyle, why are you all so calm?” I asked. He replied, “We are calm because we caught five vampires who were the ones that put the note on your car.” I was shocked at that but returned, “Isn’t that great thing? Have we learned anything as to why it happened?”

    As we were discussing this I noticed that we had arrived at the border of the packs land. There were maybe fifteen guards waiting to accompany us to the restaurant. Including the protection teams that my dad sent with us, there were forty-five guards for our date. “That’s a lot of guards we have going with us isn’t it?” I asked Alexia. She replied, “Yeah in total we have forty-five guards not counting our mates.” The guys just laughed at our observations. But we knew that most people would feel the same.

        After finishing up at the mall we went home so my dad can talk to the council members. And so ben and I can get ready for our date tonight with our mates. When we got home the first thing I did was hug my mom and then I went and took a shower. After a quick shower, I got dressed in a pair of dark blue dressy jeans and a light blue sweater. Then I went downstairs and met Ben who was dressed similarly to me, but his sweater was green. We said a quick goodbye to everyone and left to go pick up our mates.

        We decided to take the same car my 1977 Jeep Cherokee in midnight blue. As we drove we saw a group of wolves running alongside the road. I smiled at that because I saw Greg’s wolf at the head. I knew he would never give up on the chance to protect me and my luna even if he has never met her yet. Fifteen minutes later we pulled up at my mate's house. Her dad answered, “Hello alpha and delta so do we have any more answers from the bastards?” I replied, “Hello sir, as of the time we left we didn’t.” He waved us in and introduced us to his wife and sister-in-law. “Marie and Nancy this is Kyle, Daphne’s mate, and his delta Ben.”   

        After that, we talked for about ten minutes before I smelt my mate coming down the hall. When she walked in I was flabbergasted she was stunning. Wearing a beautiful sky blue dress with red roses on it. The roses were super sparkly, and she was blushing while staring at me. I said to her, “Hello beautiful may I say how stunning you are? Alexia looks beautiful too, but you just take my breath away.” She replied after looking me up and down, “Thank you handsome you are quite dashing yourself. And Ben doesn’t look too bad himself.”

        We talked for about five more minutes before we got ready to leave. She seemed impressed with me but didn’t want to say anything to me. As we went out to the car I decided to hold the door for her. As she got in she asked me why everyone is so calm?  And I told her that we were calm because we had caught five of the leeches that were responsible for putting the note on her car. She asked me if that was a great thing. And if we had learned anything about the reasons behind the note. I told her it was a great thing and that at the moment no we hadn’t gotten any information as to why this happened.

        By this time we had arrived at the border of the pack's territory. I could see all the warriors that had been running alongside us now all back in human form. Except for Greg, he was still in wolf form so I mind-linked him. “Go change gamma and come meet your future Luna.” Was what I told him. He was then seen running full out towards a house fifteen feet away. About five minutes later he came running back in his human form. He was wearing jeans and a black t-shirt. “Hello Luna, it’s nice to meet you.” He said to daphne. She replied, “Nice to meet you to gamma this is my cousin Alexandria.”

        He responded, “Nice to meet you Delta Alexandria my name is Greg, call on me if you two ever need anything. And you are unable to get a hold of your mates or our beta.” They both replied, “We will gamma, are you going to be one of the guards watching over us tonight?” He answered, “Yes Luna I will be. I will always protect my alpha and luna.” “That’s good to know gamma now we have to go, or we will be late.” My luna said with a smile. We then got back in the car and continued towards the restaurant. And the guards followed behind us the wolves running alongside us.

    My luna asked, “How many warriors do you have in your pack babe?” I answered her, “We have two hundred and fifty warriors, three hundred trackers, and four hundred omegas. But the omegas are the heart of our pack. My mother was an omega before she met my dad.”

Everyone smiled at that as Kyle pulled into the parking space of the restaurant. I looked up at the restaurant and was surprised to see how beautiful yet homey it looked. It was almost as if we were in Rome it was just that beautiful. Two floors made of white marble and polished white sandstone. With marble columns supporting the balconies made it seem quite ancient. Even though it was built in two thousand thirteen. It was built out of two-hundred-year-old marble and sandstone.

        As we entered the restaurant a beautiful girl around our age and she immediately started flirting with Kyle. This would have made me see red if Kyle hadn’t been paying much more attention to me. But since he was paying me more attention than he was her I just stared at her with a triumphant smile. She glared at me but then immediately changed her attitude and led us to our table. She didn’t even acknowledge Ben and Alexia. Alexia just looked at my face and then back to the b***h that dared flirt with my mate in front of me. She then burst out laughing and no one other than me knew why she was laughing. 

        “I will explain it to you later,” I told them. They just smiled and nodded their heads. We then proceeded to enjoy our dinner Kyle and Ben argued over who would pay. Kyle told Ben, “I will pay for dinner and you pay for the movie tickets.” Ben agreed with him and we went to the movie theater. I think we all enjoyed the movie. As we were headed home there was an alert saying intruders on pack lands. "Let's go kill some motherfuckers that think they can ruin our date," I said to Alexia.
