My Cherry Dusk

After a meaningful fight Karalana picks up the bag and live the house at once,without a second thought , knowing no places out of their village farm settlement, Karalana decides to live at once. heading to the bus station to board ,little did he realize that he has forgotten the fair for that unplanned journey to the cities . His father was a famer in Akropong ,Eastern of Ghana from Apired village. Both his parents Andrew Ini and Amencia Ini raised Karalana in Apirede village ,Karalana Ini could only visit the cities rarely in holidays with his parents Mr & Mrs Ini from when he was young. now he is a teenager and both his parents are no more. Karalana is nineteen now and just had a fight with his cousins,the only family member he was staying with from when his parents passed away. when he was pacing his steps towards the tar-road,he was lost in thoughts, thinking of the past few minutes of how he entered the room of their apartment and caught his cousin Irie making out with his girl friend on the bed he and him bought together ,,he head a loud scream of his name from behind him, "Kini!.!" Kini was a short for his name Karalana Kia Ini ,he turned to see who was yelling his name from behind it was Jevaun one of Kini's friends, seeing it's his friend Kini stops and wait for his him. "where are you headed to in such a rush Kini,I thought I won't even catch up with you after your cousin told me you weren't coming back". All this time Kini was staring at his friend not really getting all he was saying but knew that he was concerned for he came running to talk to him.with lazy eyes he took a heavy breath and looked in his friends eyes, then down to the ground again like he is thinking of what to say because clearly he did not get a thing from what Jevaun just said. Before he could say a word Jevaun tapes his fist softly on Kini's shoulder in a flash. "talk to me man!" Said Jevaun. "I...l..." like it's hard for him to say a word. "I have your contact number ,as long as you won't change it,I'll surely reach you J". Kini said these words with watery eyes. Jevaun understands this the most,to Jevaun Karalana's life stile is not hidden ,he proceeds to hugging his friend with a heavy heart then slides something in his pockets. Chapter 2 . Damn! knowing him friend's hash life stile he steps back then they looked at each other and both nodes. Kini was the first to turn avoiding to tear up in front of his friend then he left with his eyes heavy as rainy clouds . he refered to all the times he would be abused by his cousin for being the causer of his parents death , and he would always curse him for being the hell and burden of his family. Jevaun shakes hi head and go back. sitting in the bus, the conductor for the bus fair approaches Kini's sit and draws his hand towards him in the manner of asking for something , with a match stick in his mouth, as Kini looks at him , the man rolls a stick with his tongue and glares at him like he is wasting his time the he conveys. "you're not the only one on this bus" the conductor sais this while looking at the passengers boarded in .. Kini realizes what he is referring to , so he quickly slides in his right hand into his pocket and brings out the money, gives it to the man standing in front of him. upon giving him the money, he recalls Jevaun's doing earlier , it now rings a bell that he did not infact forgot his servings back home, damn! he curves inward, he widens his eyes as he meets the conductor's eyes and a voice follows. "do you think am playing huh!"! showing his the money he continues " what's this.?" yells the conductor using his brains Kini retorts "sir drop me where that fair will reach me please am just desperate as it is." the man walks away without a word , causing Kini to wonder what his deal was. closing his eyes his thoughts takes the best of him and this time he keeps at his memories of his ....
