"What happened to you, your body is wet?" Oscar's eyes finally settled on the bruises on her left cheek. "N-nothing." Amira stuttered in her dull voice and her face stare so badly. She'd forgotten about the tear on her cloth from the torture she receive from Sara, her stepmom. It has happened while she was trying to escape from her stepmom's torture. "Stop looking at me that way." Amira ask and rolled her eyes at Oscar whose eyes continue to wander all over her, making it hard to control her secret urge. She could feel herself blushing. The look from Oscar is enough to render her speechless. What kind of eyes could caress one to oblivion, Amira was flabbergasted and lost in fallacy. "Don't come close." She sparked knowingly that she couldn't handle the pressure starting to carve on her between them. Amira decided to stop him from taking any further steps as her hungry stomach was too demanding. But it was as if her words had gone to deaf ear as Oscar disregarded her warning. And in one firm stride, he was standing inches away from her. And his arms slowly reached her shoulder under the watch of her naked eye. His hands were very warm and soothing that Amira unknowingly closes her eyes, as she was enjoying the comfort that comes from the warm palm while it lasted. "Do you have any idea how I have looked for you?" Oscar asks abruptly. "Oh my God. What the hell am I doing?" Like someone that had just waked up from a deep soothing slumber. Amira finally opened her eyes that had closed on. Immediately, the realization of what she had done dawned on her, and she sighed hastily. "Please don't touch me." She sparked again hitting his hands away from her shoulder. "Come on, why are you this difficult? You look like some who needs help." Oscar sparks on a loud voice. 'Why it's he always at the point of my needs?' Amira thought in her head and freeze in surprise. She finally came out of her inaudible state with a heavy smirk on her face. It was strange how she had bumped into Oscar at the point of her need. It was weird how she had felt so comforted and relaxed over a hand that was supposed to be cold. Because the hands were compelling her to sleep. "I don't know why you are always at the point of my need. Whatever it is, can you help me pay for the Sandwich? Pleaaaase." Amira finally let go of her ego and asked Oscar for help. "You don't have to worry. I know you need help. Your wish is my command." Oscar was so caring that he was ready to do anything for Amira. The only problem with him is his gang of friends which he can't let go of. "I don't even know you that much, I only saw you once and now. How can you just be helping me all the time? Especially at the point of my need? Now you taking advantage of it. Besides, you appear at the weakest moment of my life, and you know I'd have no choice but to accept your sincere help." She soared after speaking out her mind. "Are you indirectly telling me to be part of your life?" "Spare me the time and help me with the Sandwich. My dad will be waiting. Though, I know beating is awaiting me already." She uttered and cover her mouth, as she unknowingly speak out the distress she was facing in thy house. "Immediately, Oscar went to the shopping mall and buy the Sandwich without wasting any more time. Justin in a fraction of a second. He returned with the Sandwich." Amira was so happy that she couldn't control her excitement and she unknowingly jump on him and hug him so tilts as Oscar's body was warm, but just in a moment the realization down on her and she quickly retracts herself. "Common, we are friends already. You don't have to be shy." "Stop following me, it's already late." Amira warned sternly, but her high-pitched voice gave her away. She gritted her teeth as she increased her pace, feeling embarrassed over what she had done. She couldn't believe she almost fell as asleep at the touch of his warm body. 'I'm obviously out of mind for blabbing that nonsense. Anyway, I gat no choice but to face reality, because no one could love me at this moment of my life.' She thought in her head as she cautioned herself. Oscar gave her no choice but to wish to have someone like him in her life. But she would never admit that fact to his very face, but that's exactly how Amira's impression was. He was the only one that had cared to render a helping hand to her without discriminating against her. "It would be my pleasure to know you more." He asked, and Amira couldn't believe her ear. And she instantly pauses to face him, as expectations vivid in her eyes. She blinked confusedly the moment Oscar slowly walk closer to her, and she take a wary step back, but she couldn't move despite how much she forced herself. She stood completely still as if she was fixed on the ground. She felt her heart flip excitedly as Oscar breathed flared over her face. Her eyes slowly flustered close to their notions as she waited in anticipation. But after a while, the warmth she'd expected never come, and she open her eyes rapidly instead of smiling, she was smirking. Oscar's lips curled up as he smile before moving over to Amira's ear. Immediately, she gasped lowly, as she felt Oscar breathe fan over her. "Leave me alone." Amira cried out as she felt herself being lifted from the ground. "Put me down now please." She screams trying to free herself from the hash grip. "Stop struggling I just wanna help." He said. It was 11:45 pm at the time and it was raining heavily and thunder was striking. "I won't not until you tell me where you're taking me to." She retorted without wasting time. "Am taking you to take care of your wound. I believe you will freeze to death if you stay any more minutes under the rain. But don't worry, I won't hurt you or do anything out of your consent." He said. "What does that mean?" "Whatever you're thinking." Oscar replies abruptly. Amira know that she couldn't win over him. She decides to keep quiet. Besides, the warmth coming from his body made her feel so comforting and less cold. At last, she felt comfortable while on his shoulder. She stylishly looked up at Oscar's sharp jaw, sculpted face, and well-defined features. 'What could such a handsome man be doing with an ugly, weak, and bad luck like me? Something must be wrong somewhere.' She thought to herself as a series of contemplation ran in her head, as she was stylishly staring at him. "What are you looking at?" He asked. Immediately, Amira stopped and blinked confusedly, as her blue orbs met his cold grey, ones that were fixed on her. And her face was chivalry as she quickly averted her gaze.
